i had the same problem a little over a month ago, i called the Dr office they told me to come ASP. I was given antibitics just in case of infection and to help close the incision up. Calll your Dr ASP to get instructions on what to do. -

Be encouraged...... You can't always go by the scale you have to take body measurements. keep up the good work and change is taking place rather you believe it or not!!!

I was banded on 2/9/12 i have a little discharge from port area called Dr 3/5/2012 told me to come same day checked it out cleaned the area and gave me a priscription so i dont get a affection. Has any one had this problem before?

In the 4yrs that you have had the band did you reach your goal weight? I really hope everything goes well for you and that you continue to lose the weight you want. Keep me posted and let me know how things go :-)

i was told not to chew gum because of the air intake but i chew with my mouth close and as i stated before i have not had any problems. But there is some people who can eat bread and some who cant so try chewing a gum and see if it works for you.

I chew sugar free gum all the time i have not had any problems with to much air.

Try Gerber 2nd food prunes with apples, i eat one every morning before i eat or drink anything and by the middle of the day I'm able to make a bowel movement..........DRINK PLENTY OF WATER & LIMIT THE CHEESE!!!
