after reading some posts today, i have to say this-- having a lap band is major surgery..its uncomfortable and it will take a positive attitude it will also take common sense and a willing to change your life from what you did to need WLS to what you can become...it starts and ends with you.

after surgery, it can hurt/be incomfortable and your insides are swollen when trying to drink..its major surgery, not a nail appt...

all i got was *rain* during raleighs first snow..oh well, i made chili, that is what's for lunch

all want power and can power....

alot can be said for letting the band work...

Also make sure that you really understand that this is a lifestyle change not a quick fix.

any WLS can fail or muster excellent results. granted some fail for whatever reasons. but the ones that most fail are the ones who divert off their dr's instructions

any WLS is great and any WLS can have complications whichever you get, do the best you can with it (for best results) and with all things, success will vary ..all i can say it is it did save my life..so whatever pick or choose, WORK IT and do your best and make it happen
