i apologize first for my questions:
with the pre-surgery diet and post-op diets (consisting of liquids/mushy etc)....
how does this affect your bowel movement?
i work in an office environment and just kinda curious at what to expect (before/after).
on the after, how about the (gas) i read so much about..how do you handle that?
appreciate any feedback.

congrats on all you have done.

I just finished up my sleep tests and once I have the machine, my lap band clinic can schedule my surgery. Does anyone know about the surgery and if the surgeon uses this during the surgery for me?
Can anyone advise me with the cpac stuff? Id appreciate it.

my psych visit took about 15 min. he weighted, asked if i had depression. and spent 5 min telling me i would have to pay him 45 for him to write a nice report to the lap band clinic (on top of my co pay 12). i waited until i was sure the clinic received this report and called tricare to complain. they said i should only had to pay the 12 dollars and nothing else. they sent him a letter saying he owed me monies. but at least i got my letter.

i dont know that either. I was approved on the 16th and on the 18th, my clinic said guess what, we need a sleep test before you can have surgery. i am very disappointed as i completed all my pre-ops they asked me to do in feb/march and would have completed this one also if they had told me. Will this postpone my surgery?? i really feel just like giving up

i read on the net, that after they fit you with the machine, some surgeons wait 6 to 12 months before surgery. is that true?

hi Army mom just a $12 co pay on fills? i was wondering about that. my clinic said i would only need to pay 184 for my surgery and they pay the rest so i am thankful.

those kinds of posts b52 will make me successful bc its positive/to the point and just what i need as a pre-bander to be

well.....I have been approved for surgery by my insurance but last week my lap band clinic said (kinda out of the blue) that (l needed to have this sleep test) and this is why I am doing it.......once this is done, I hope I can get them to schedule my surgery in May....seems the closer I get to getting this done, this clinic keeps making bumps in my path...
green nails (very pretty). so I will cut them all short (so when I remove my right index finger today) they wont look so .....dumb
but I am a mature adult woman who is now a grandma.
I will NOT cry.

.......the only thing (I guess) its not TOM for me.........at least that is one bright side..........good bye green finger nail.........
-
wont get freaked out by moniter stuff (more embarrassed if I eat Beans during the day if you get my meaning). fail because I dont remove my nail. YEP, I am gonna remove it but it will hurt like heck to do so. (its ok because this sat is my appt to get them done). falling into order i guess. Thanks Jean. YOU ARE the bestest.

I am a pre-bandster. Do you need to get fills in order to (lose weight)
-
if anyone had a lap band done here, can you advise what type of pre-op diet (length) you had to do?
-
I have a sleep test scheduled tomorrow at 845.
(more nervous than I need to be I expect)
upset I have to remove my right index fingernail (my acyrlic one at that)...
can someone fail a test like this?

Thank you for that post. As a person about to have the surgery, its hard for me to read the posts that are (negative). I think and believe you must be in the right frame of mind to make this work. (I support everyone on here and hope everyone is successful).

I am having a sleep test done on tuesday. Can anyone tell me what to expect?
I do know I have to spend the night. I appreciate any feedback.
-
no, my hub is retired air force.
-
they approved me to have surgery. the clinic just told me today.
((thank you to everyone who offered me support))
-
i read on this forum about people getting them repaired but what is that exactly?
-
that is what my hub said (((thanks for the feedback)))
-
I have read on here of people failing a sleep test.
If I fail, does this mean I cannot get a lap band?
(I have had 5 other surgeries in the past).
-
next week will be my 3rd month..so I am also in your shoes.
-
after all my pre-op requirements and finally getting the clearance letter to the clinic to submit for approval, Dr Enochs office just told me I now need to schedule a sleep test.
THEY TELL ME THIS NOW?
can you please tell me what this is
how it works
and (I have seen on here about people failing it).
please advise as I am very distraught and upset as this (new item) that is now sprung on me.
