What is a typical day for you?

up and go to work and then go home....truly but i eat my allotted amounts (Protein first, then veggies and fruit) and i drink all the live long day.......and exercise.....every single day (especially now that i can).....i eat when i am truly hungry and i do not stress over what i can and cant eat......we are no longer on a diet......we can eat whatever and we have the power to eat/make better choices..i also come to this forum daily for support and try to help not only myself but other people like me...it is a process and it needs to be used as doctor advises for best results. congrats on your surgery i hope it makes you as happy as my surgery has made me.

    Gas??? Now??

gas must work its way out via tooting (as i refer to it) or jiffy popping but i am 15 months post op and still toot quite a bit......part of my banded life i reckon.... pain shoulder will eventually go away....and if i eat too fast or too much too quickly, even now it can rear its ugly head.......so go slow, pace yourself and keep moving....

What exercise do you do at home?

i walk (and going up and down hills) def makes your legs feel it. and i also do step aerobics (on a 4inch step box) in my home and 2x a week, i go to a little dance studio and do low impact step aerobics but do what you like and enjoy and will continue to do PS: if i see catfish riding by on his bike with a UK shirt, i cant promise i wont run him over.........go heels

Fell of the wagon - extremely dissapointed

no need to deprive when you have a lapband. eat something if you want it..you are not on a diet......but be mindful of the calories (if you follow that)......food is not bad....its the type and the amount that is the issue...like the one poster said, i eat one meal a week of whatever i want.....i have done that since banding....one meal (my allotted amount)....i do not say i cant have this or that...i just now make better choices....and so you ate two taco's.....so what.....its in your tummy now and due to come out.....move past it...and eat better the next meal. (one meal wont make you gain a zillion pounds and just like one meal wont make you lose a zillion pounds)....its an ongoing process..

    Hmmm not losing...

oh but you ARE if you are losing inches, you are still great and losing weight..the scale may not show a (loss or be going slow) but you exercising and eating great means to me you are losing. keep going forward and forward.
