    walmart versions of meds (cold/flu or allergy)..i try to do liquid as much as i can (i just prefer it)..cvs has liquid tylenol version, fyi to anyone reading this.. not sure what airborne is, can someone tell me?

    TOM is here.........can you say crampy, b**itchy, cranky and wanting something crunchy/salty.. i am drinkning alot more....to help with the Water weight i am toting around..i hate this,,,but it is what it is..not a excuse to eat whatever...and def not a excuse to not work out...step aerobics was done and it felt awesome today as i was working out i was thinking i recall that not long ago, i couldnt stand for 5 minutes at a time and here i am stepping up and down on a step box for 30 minutes..boy have i came a long way.its been a long road......not easy..bumps in road....but i kept at it..surrounded myself with positive/real people and went for it...no drama.no excuses......just me getting it done.. oh yeah..eating and eating well and letting my band/plication do its thing...... work
  3. there is no good or bad foods...only some better options/choices that are better for us.. to me, to diet means to deprive or do without.....dont do that...eat but just eat better...let food nourish you, not run your life..eat to live..no more living to eat...

    dealing with this right now...i am not a sweet (crave sweets) person but more crunchy...so those cute little 100 cal pop corn snack bags are yummy and what i want....and i am drinking all the time..trying to help navigate the water gain out...hang in there

    if you are about to start, its most likely water weight...and as cheryl said, some soups have alot of sodium so you mix that with period water, and you got a gain...i can easily gain 5 to 10 pounds of water on my TOM.....also agree with cheryl in letting your insides heal and not eating until your dr advised you it was okay...keep sipping/drinking, that will help

    there is someone for everyone..i believe that i hope we all find (or have found) that one who loves/accepts us for US.. i am blessed..my ole man met me at my where i am heading weight......and he has been with me (in all ways) at my highest well over 330+....like msinto, he was more concerned with my health..as he is now and then..i also agree, if he saw me at my highest, he would have kept on walking...sad to sad but true..would i have done the same to a super morbid obese man? who knows...but i would see them with eyes of compassion.........and i wish to everyone with a weight problem, that the world sees them and accepts them with compassion...

    i posted this on another thread...but liked what i wrote and wanted to put it here. maybe whomever needs a boost, will read it and help......it helped me and i wrote it.. it IS about choices. its not about bad dieting...its about us not having control..that is why i got super morbid obese...i chose to overeat unhealthy foods and not exercise..having this band surgery gave me the strength and belief i needed that i lost because of one after another failed (diets)...any wls works if used correctly by what the doctor advises them..for best results, its vital to listen to the doctor and eat better foods, exercise, stop making excuses, when we can (can if we want)..and then let the band work...it does and it can and it will work........if used as intended.

    Been in a Plateau for the last 1.5 months :(

    i just wanted to say one thing on this thread (aside from great job on exercising, eating and nearly 100 POUNDS lost..that is amazing..well done) Does muscle really weigh more than fat?     yesterday.......did my aerobics..yeah for me if you are reading this, did you exercise?? if you merely walked and check your mail....or up and down the driveway or biked around paris...........GOOD for you at least something was done and i was one on the couch...eating and getting bigger and bigger and more immobile as the days passed.....get up and move.. eat but eat better options....drink alot...let the band work.. it can and will and does work

    i have used them before and after surgery i find its best (mixed) with something...easy way to get protein...if your dr is okay with it, go for it

    good for you and congrats..just hang in there..some days are harder than others..what a wonderful thing for you..i remember well getting under 200 recently...i felt 16 months ago i wouod see 400s...but the band helped me get it in hear......just like with you.GREAT job honey

    advice needed: getting rings resized

    i actually lost my wedding band down the toilet at work. (i was devastated)..i knew they were loose but i was being careful or so i thought.....at least the diamond stayed put, thank heavens......just recently hub got me another gold band...resized my diamond also).....said his ole lady is too hot not to be wearing a ring.........BOOM i like the ring guard idea also someone mentioned..i went from size 9 to a 6.... and i like the getting nre rings part too.....isnt having a lap band and losing weight great :wub:

"a loss is a loss....back to basics....protein first and front...then veggies and a fruit..stop at a cup of food..stop at 20 minutes......drink all the time...and heck, walk around for 5 or 10 min or march in place for 3 minutes if its all you can.....basics...just like when we started...a loss is a loss......no matter how big or small"

    dont be disappointed..a loss is a loss....back to basics....protein first and front...then veggies and a fruit..stop at a cup of food..stop at 20 minutes......drink all the time...and heck, walk around for 5 or 10 min...basics...just like when you started...a loss is a loss......no matter how big or small.....talk to the dr on tuesday..see what they say..YOU can do this....you already are....big hugs
