i agree with missy wrote....no one wls is better than the other a lot is based on the patient.. if you eat more calories than your burn off (counting them or not) you will gain sleeve, band or bypass....

we all want to lose weight and get healthy...whichever WLS we choose, i wish everyone luck no one is better than the other...

i dont know if weight loss (makes one sick) but i know for a fact it makes one healthier

what a sunny warm day..near 70 laid out in sun for a couple hours and read my book emptied my mind and let myself drift away and get lost in the book.. then hub came home, cut grass, trimmed hedges and kabo the doberman tramped around the yard with the branches he cut.. around noon today, did my 30 min step aerobics dvd hope everyone had a great day ate well, exercised and most important, believed in themselves and what their band can and will do

i am attaching my own xray of my band w/plication during a barium swallow..look closely (the small ball (is my plicated stomach) and underneath the (tornado shape funnel) is the band itself..you can see faint a line..

yes..i am just accepting it.....and hope the friends i have made pm me, or comment on my blogs or threads i make.. i def need (that) part of support

you can do what you think you (cant do) the first 4 or 5 days were hard...my ole man got tired of me whining that i was starving and woe is me and he told me to woman up...that i wanted this surgery and it was up to me to do whatever i could to make it happen...i learned, as you will, that you are stronger mentally then you think you are....hang in there... if you think you can, you will if you really want this surgery and to lose weight, then do what you have to do.. my starting BMI was 62....so yeah, it can be done

17 months post op......and i am def working my band for best results..

trying to get the hang of this new site.... am all for change..and like some of the new things i see but i cant find the new threads/posts for sh** i am seeing stuff from last year and old topics w.no replies i adjusted the filters, i adjusted the content..but not seeing a lot of new banded posts.. and seeing sleeved/bypass people commenting on bands...welcome to the party yall am i missing them or is people just not posting? i hope people dont stop posting, esp my friends i have come to visit with every day.. so if any of my (friends) read this, dont lose touch w. me....def pm me

yes its hard but you wanted to have this sugery, so do whatever you need to in order to have it done..that is what my ole man told me on my pre op....as roja said, use your free options..sf popsicles saved me...i truly believe the first 4 or 5 days are the worst...and then its not so bad.. you wont starve you wont die and you are mentally more stronger than you give yourself credit for

what i see and have always saw, IS A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN INSIDE AND OUT you just had major surgery, you need time to heal....and i am so sure you are doing better than you think you are food wise......

right hand side, i went to (forums) i follow and i unchecked a LOT of lap band forums i didnt want to read or see..(bandsters 2005-2011, all sorts of groups and other things that dont interest me) etc).......and now i have only the sub content that i want to view..much better trying to get the hang of this new site
