my latest nsv is me buying a new leather jacket........size large...... you have to see (my before) picture to see why a size large is a great thing for me..

i met AJ aka yellow rose of texas on this forum last year and she sent me a couple of boxes of clothes.... hub took this pic of me from behind today as i watched kabo the doberman play in the yard (he said he digs the junk in my trunk and hence why he snuck this shot) anyhow, i am wearing a pair of britches that my friend AJ sent me..........size 16 (and to ones who havent a f**king clue who i am, highest pant size was size 30 just last summer...) AJ, thanks for the support and never ever letting me give up that threat of wabbit gun still hangs heavy

well, it will have to work its way out......mine was painful as hell from day 4 to about 8...........i did windmills with my arm and got in shower and let the hot water soothe it....heating pad felt great also....def use the pain meds to help aid..it may not seem like it now, but it will get better

ate well today........ exercised when i got home.... and tried to encourage someone and tried to let someone see, yes it can work.. if you do one thing... do it..

i went twice......one to test to see if i had apnea and i had a mild (case?) and then a second one wearing the cpac....it wasnt bad....i took my sleep meds, they hooked me up and i woke up.........took bout 10 min to put goo and wires on and 10 min to take off.....i never heard of anything like that and so it was interesting to see and do and see the results (esp the dream state stuff)...no worries ok ...........FYI, been off cpac for 10+ months....gotta love weight loss

thank goodness fish was not used...........

i ask the dr who operated on me, any WLS questions.. i trust him and his office..

i remember very well getting those other pants and going NO WAY and it was no way for a long time....little by little..

now dont know about that........but def a change in my face....one little thing, like clothes being too big or going down a size or noticing a older picture vs a new one, can make ones mind go heck yeah i got this and keep them keeping on..... why i posted it....to show the bigger BMI's that yeah, it can be done.... there is so many bypass/sleeve people on the band threads and i want the ones who got the band to see, the band works.. not just me but jim or missy or aj or floridays and many many many more...or YOU go.......its a GREAT thing add patient compliance to the band and whoop .....WATCH OUT

i think there is a lot of (mis info) and incorrect info on all the WLS on these forums....we all have different options/views of the WLS.....some right and some wrong..no one should ever (take for granted) what is read on here or any forum...in my humble (small town humble opinion), ones own doctor is the best person to ask questions and get their opinion as to if a particular surgery is best for that person..

eating is eating, holidays or not.....if you eat more calories than you burn off, you will gain... eating to test waters, or because you can eat than you (know you should) is only hurting yourself.. either adhere to eating better foods, in your dr advised allotment, (get a fill if it helps you)...or gain weight use the band as instructed and it will work i believe in you...i wish you did also
