sorry to be so graphic. but if i take Fiber (gummies is what i bought) will that help with the runs i have on this liquid liver diet? any advice helpful

i am having my surgery on a wed morning and scheduled to go to work the following tuesday. i work at a desk (on pc/phones)...so i am hoping i can get back to work in that time frame. my dr said i should be able to. keeping fingers crossed.

i too am concerned that i will give in to temptation (as i finish out my liquid phase..decided if i do cheat, i will eat applesauce or a piece of hard candy....i am too scared of going to the OR and the doctor being there when i wake up and say, nope, didnt do it because your liver too large. def scares me.

i have tricare prime in the north region. how does the fills work with our insurance? do i get the referral from my pcd to submit to tricare and then they approve it? do i end up only paying my co pay?

how are you feeling? any pain? did you go back to work? congrats on doing so well...

i am getting that band w/plication on the 6th. i am very excited about it (said no cost as its clinical trial also)

thats me ras, i eat (alot) not a sweet person. more junk/fast food/high fat/high calories. i kept mcd's in business.

my doc tried to push me for the bypass (my ins wouldnt cover sleeve) and because of the cutting of my stomach , i realized that once it was cut, there was no going back. it was cut forever. it scared me. granted i have a large bmi but i told this doc what i wanted. he also told me that it is only a tool to help as i am the one who makes this band w/plication successful. i think you need to get what makes you comfortable. i have been reading this forum for 3 months, and found numerous people who have lost 50 , 100, 75, 100, 150 and some over 200 pounds and still going. it is a tool. if you use it wisely/correctly, you can achieve anything.i believe that. again, i chose the band because it is less evasive and it can be removed if any problems ever came about. wishing you all the best.

yes, i have tricare prime. after my pcd referred me for all pre ops, the only thing it doesnt cover is the nutritionist visit. tricare was a smooth ride for me

why were you denied?

i will be all your june buddies. sombra like you i mourn and miss the foods i use to eat. def a junk food eater and not a sweet eater. but i have to stay positive

i am right there with you. i have surgery on the 6th. and i am liquids til then........trust me i am on that OMG phase right now. i am on day 4........the first two days were the worst. i wanted to just give up and say what the hell. i know its hard. damn hard. but u can do this. look at what all you have done to get here?? i am right there with you...u need help/support. i am here.

i agree. i wish like anything that i didnt have to get either but i do. i have a problem. and i am hoping with this tool, i can try and get my weight down and start walking again and trying to just feel better. i had no idea he was doing the plication til my final surgeons visit last week and he asked me did i want to this (and then he explained it to me). 93 pounds OH MY GOSH I FIND THAT INCREDIBLE. please tell me how please please please. thank you so much for posting this.
