my knees hurt so bad but i am hoping with me losing weight, i can begin to walk more and more..

june 6th. seems like its right around the corner. i sure hope this liquid diet is making my liver shrink. do you think its working? i will be so pissed if thet cant do the band bc of my liver........so far--no cheating and i am so proud.

laura, my mom has called me that and worse........i understand what you are going through. food will pacify you but eating junk food will only comfort you for that moment. then you will fill bad. please dont do that. i am sorry there are people in this world who are so hateful and cruel. since she cant say i am sorry, let me say that i am sorry. your gorgeous inside and out. now, then, forever. rise above ignorant people.

agree with you. you are this close........i am so excited. make sure i get all the detail, good and bad, regardless. i will be right there with you. i am walking alittle better.......dont know if i lost anything since i havent weighted since my final surgeon visit........i got my hospital pre op on wed, 30th

fl, i cant wait to have tomato soup and grits.......and bama right, def tired of sweet. why the broth is a comfort. hope you are well.

agree w/my girl bama, overnight goes quickly and i wake up feeling good. def think my body has detoxed from junk food and diet soda and beer and i feel (better)

hi snap....... i am on day 5 on my liquid diet. chicken soup drained and mixed with broth (and very hot) feels me up. perfect for thermos. also, protein shakes.......when i get hungry, i drink a shake..popsicles (no sugar) and jello all you can eat......same with broth. crystal light has some awesomw new drinks and keep you full when you get the munchies too.. hang in there

hi shr........you and i are in the same frame of mind. i am mere days away and ready........bring it on if you will. also like you, am concerned that my period will show during surgery as well........yikes......my cramps are the worst also...am also on liquids and doing well,,,.def a mental game right now and a want to attitude. hang in there and know we are to close to starting our new lives.

day 5 of my liquid diet........so good so far...........when i an hungry, i drink my Protein. not to mention my popsicles and chicken broth. still not a fan of Jello but have eaten two or three. like kah, i do find myself going to bed earlier also. surprised i am doing this well bit it sure helps having people out there and on this forum going through what i am and knowing that i am not alone. def feel doing that semi liquid diet has helped me do as well as i have at this all liquid. must say a big thank you to my ole man for eating in the other room during meal times. thats very nice and thoughtful. :wub:

i wanted to take a moment and say thanks to everyone on here. you guys/gals are so kind and helpful to me and i am very blessed to have found this website/forum. there is another forum and the nasty posts and negative thoughts about banding is unreal. ms j told me to stay off of there and she is/was right. being nervous when i started here in feb, everyone made me and other new pre banders welcome. great advice and support and experiences is incredible. wanted to thank everyone on here. have a great and wonderful rest of the weekend holiday.

hey short..........thanks for the encouraging words. means alot. i am on day 4 of all liquid......doing well.....hoping i can succeed at this and everyone else who is getting the band. its want power..........i want to be healthy

eli, i am sorry you are so sad. can you please go back to the basics? how about going for a fill or at least call your doctor? please do not give up. look how far you have come???

that is great trac. i am so glad to hear that. i also like the fact that there is no cutting of my stomach at all. i read some stuff on another band basher website and they said awful things about this......that the stomach dies because it's folded over a d other (stupid stuff). i think that if my dr didnt think i could handle this, he wouldnt do it. i am so positive and so gungho and so sure i am to be a success that no neg thoughts or thinking are entering my mind. nope--its not allowed. no trespassing day 4 of all liquids for me. doing well. hub made me some broth before he left. i went for my mani/pedi and worried about my stomach the whole time. PLEASE DONT GO........sounds like an old kc and the sunshine band song. bout to go out and work on my tan

i decided if i cheat , it will be applesauce or a cracker or cream chix soup......so far so good w/no cheating. i couldnt be doing this good if it wasnt for my hub and my friend kathy at wk, big time support.

egg white hell, cheese pizza when hub made my shakes tonight, he put in cup and said *here's your pizza*

cheated, how? what? i bet it wasnt bad at all.....

well gf, end of day 3 on all liquid and doing well......still runs but hanging in there with that...i am not a sweet person either and i agree everything seems so sweet. am glad for the broth esp at work. i drink 2 big cups of that at wk and it def feels me up. am glad i did the 2 shakes per day last week oe i think it would be alot tougher on me right now, are you getting the plication also?

thanks shy. its getting here quick. i am excited about the plication and have read alot about it. i know this is a new beginning for me and all the other banders (and newly banders).

melinda such lovely words, thank you. well, i know my surgery is day surgery. i asked my dr would i stay overnight, he said i would. (i think bc of my sleep apnea but am not sure). i may feel more comfy overnight knowing thr dr and nurses are there w/pain med if i need it. so i think i am spending the night. as for you, if you feel comfortable and ok to go home, id say go . just go by what your body tells you. i know after my gallbladder surgery, i was up and about well but the next day was painful as hell. that was xmas eve too. i am so hoping it goes smoothly like my gallbladder. hows your liquids??? doing okay??

i have to be there at 530.......surgery at 730.........
