doing well. will go ti the doctor next wed for my first follow up after surgery. am hoping i have lost something.

doing better today. left shoulder doesnt hurt as bad as yesterday...still hurts to take a deep breath (am assuming that hernia repair) but plan on going back to work on wed. i am very hungry. i am trying to drink as much as i can, my Protein bullets, broth and popsickles to stay hydrated... planning on going back to work on wed, i intend to take immodium a.d. because i cant mess myself at work. any advice or suggestions??

i am doing better (except) for my constant dull ache of my left shoulder ache. does anyone else have this type of issue or advise or suggest? i am going back to work tomorrow and being left handed, am not looking forward to it.

had surgery on the 6th and going back to work tomorrow. very concerned about my stomach (fluids ina d fluids out), the lady at my clinic says i cant do immodium a.d and now am very scared to go to work. pain is mainly my left shoulder and neck and am very hungry.

i am 5 days post op, the nurse in hospital told me not to take a bath. how much longer does anyone know??

yes i am very hungry. havent ate any food for 3 weeks. whatntype of food are you eating and spitting out?

not sure who makes it. i use the whey cookies and creme protein powders, it tastes awesome. i mixed it and put in freezer and its like a slush. very good. i did 4 shakes a day for 2 weeks and lost 18 pounds on my liquid diet. protein feeds you so find one you like

hi d i am using those (bullets) in order to get my Protein. the fruit punch flavor is the best by far. i mixed it w/crystal light and it did not taste that good. but you may like ir. they have many flaovrs and some have like 47 grams of protein and those are very strong

was banded w/hernia repair on the 6th. my left shoulder has been hurting bad. today is the best i have felt since surgery. struggling to get all my liquids and my protein bullets down. it hurts to take a deep breath but maybe bc of hernia repair. glad to see that you all are fine and feeling better.

my left shoulder and neck still hurts pretty good and when i take a deep breath, i feel some pain in my chest. am trying hard to get all my liquids in during the day. i can feel the liquid go down and i swear it feels like my stomach is constricting. it doesnt hurt but feels weird. please tell me this is gonna get easier

my left shoulder and neck hurts alot too. do you take any pain meds?

drunk some protein shake and feel kinda sick to my stomach. if i throw up, will i ruin the band?

hi mountain, yes i sure am. def hurts to take a deep breath. they fixed a hernia as well. so i am def sore. my left shoulder is the worst by far

hi art and all..........i was banded in wed and my left shoulder, neck and each breath i take causes me pain. just hoping it gets better. was gonna try to go to work monday but now i dont know

had my surgery on wed and today my left shoulder hurts alot as it does every time i take a deep breath. trying to sip as much Water as i can..took a couple sips of Protein drink too. i can feel whatever i drink go down and then shirtly, almost like my stomach constricts. i had the plication so i am wondering is that why. any advice or suggestions..........i will be thankful for any responses.

doing well. my left shoulder is hurting quite a bit. they fixed a hernia also. pain is tolerable. i have a liquid pain medicine to take. seems to help. i have to get 2 shots a day leonox. hub is to do it in my stomach twice daily. to prevent clots. rite aid drug store gave us 3 boxes of prefilled shots. they use al little needle. also have a breathing machine to use to prevent pnuemomia.i just inhale using this little plastic item. not sure how long i will have to use it. mouth is very dry but am trying to sip as much as i can. had to drink barium and dr watched on xrays to see any leaks. none was seen and that was great news. ended up losing 18.2 pounds on my liquid diiet so my liver was perfect and small. will just rest for the next few days. hope my shoulder feels better. that be my only complaint. thank you all.

had my surgery lap band with plication on wed and today is saturday. left shoulder still very painful, so is my chest when i take a deep breath. my surgeon also fixed a nernia. today i am able to drink more and drink my protein. just wondering when/if this pain is going to get any better??

i would say the 2nd day after surgery was the hardest ppain wise for me. mainly my left shoulder.

got banded on the 6th. def having serious shoulder pain and hard to take a breath bc of a hernia repair. trying to get my water input today and had a couple sips of protein. i may go back to work on wed next week. dont know for sure.otherwise, i am feeling okay

i am getting banded with plication on june 6th. anyone else out there?? hope to hear from you
