hey mountain, thanks for asking day 9 post op no more pain eating tomato Soup and applesauce...next wed oatmeal and maybe ome refried Beans mushed up good.. hanging in there..drinking my liquid protein..going back to work monday

hi donna, understand both. please take the pain meds and any anti sickness meds. zip your water and rest. i didnt think my shoulder or neck pain would stop, but it did and yours will too. **thinking of you**

oh allison, that is so great. how did you do it?? what are the most important things that stick out the most for you that (helped)

took my levonox shot tonight and for the first time, it made me sick to my stomach. made me feel like i was going to throw up. dr had prescribed me tablets for anti nausa to put on my tongue which i did, and i am feeling better. if i do throw up, will that hurt my new band?? am kinda concerned.

yes yes yes. i had surgery on the 6th and my left shoulder hurt so bad. it just stopped two days ago. i used tylenol and gas x (not sure if this helped but willing to try) and moved my arm around alot. its now in my neck. it WILL get better. hang in there

hi kah 2 1/2 weeks already, wow?? what type of things are you eating? are you doing a food chart? just curious beccause i am only a week post op and afraid of (what to eat)

hi bubie, was 14 days all liquids................and now i have 2 weeks liquid to do (actually one as i am one week post op today)........next week i can have oatmeal or scrambled egg........am so excited...........took tylenol to help

yes, dr enochs did my surgery a week ago today

i got that while i was on my pre-op diet............and now being one week post op, i just have head ache....if you are concerned, call your doctor to be sure and calm any fears you have. keep up the great work

oh eileen i am so sorry to read this...i would call the doctor/hospital asap.....take care and your are in my thoughts

hi su i had severe left shoulder pain til 6 days post op (which was yesterday)(today just my neck hurts). i guess it will work itself out. hope you feel better

i had a hiatal hernia repaired with my band and had no idea i had one. i dont own a scale either and decided to have myself weighed at my monthly dr appts and go by how my clothes are feeling (hoping getting too big) glad to hear you are feeling well.

my first dr appt is 2 wks after surgery (6-6-12).......anxious to see what i lost (if any). can wait to hear your good reviews new

hi som today is 7 days since i had surgery........my shoulder/neck has hurt so bad that it was all i could think about. earlier this week, my Protein shake made me feel like i was gonna be sick so my dr called in a prescrip to help with nasusa. my stomach is bruised because i have to do levonox shots for another 10 days and i am frustrated bc all this liquid has given me alot of time on the potty. i also dont read where anyone is struggling like me but wanted you to know i understand what you are going through. if you can, how about drained veggie soup? or tomato soup?? i am having alot of trouble drinking but i am trying and doing the best i can. that is all we can do. hang in there. pm me if you ever need to.

is it bad to run a fever, what does it mean?

did anyone have a hernia repair while getting the band? how was the pain? my pain is my left shoulder and my chest when i take a deep breath. suggestions/advise? had my surgery on the 6th

hey yel what did you do with the handling of the pain? i am going back to work tomorrow and dreading it because of the intense pain/ache in my left shoulder/neck. does it get better??
