    OK, I'll admit it....

    i watch it as a reminder of how close *i was* to being that way i am sure i resembled them eating......i do not pity them but until they really (decide) to do something about it, and get off their ass.....it wont happen......i say that as i did just that for 2+ years and look where it got me???? if you (want it) it can/will happen.

  5. using this site (LBT) and now the new one, let me know i was not alone and that there are many people just like me who are trying to get well....some good ones and some bad ones.....but pushing forward..this site is a god send......take what you need, desire, leave the BS at the curb..

    Tools of the trade: Gadgets/Journals

    i have a battery operated scale *that i use all the time* as i prepare my meals for week a head of time.(also use to put in freezer)..i also use a Blender Bottle for my Protein shakes and def splurged on small lock and lock containers to put my food in (Snacks etc) in order to grab and go....and i have blogged on this forum to (help) me.. and anyone else who wants to read my stuff this i found has helped me greatly

    “What was I afraid of?" i was afraid of not being able to walk *i was well on my way to that* and for my grandbaby to be (ashamed) of her meme..... i was also afraid of admitting i had a problem that i no longer could fix myself.....i allowed myself to get so large that only medical intervention could help.....thank goodness i found a dr for that.... i had to dig down deep one more time...get rid of the diet past yo yo's and let downs and TRY.....once more and do the best i could....its all any of us can do really. great article

    a loss is a loss and you saying (its not much) is BS look at the list you cited...if that is not success i do not know what is GF so change that (neg attitude) to yeah, i am working it and i am rocking it and here are my pictures and you damn right i am smoking HOT because you are......well done..........well done
  11. well, i have the plication, so that helps me (feel fuller quicker).....it does give me a full feeling very similiar to eating a thanksgiving dinner.......but i also know this feeling can be very uncomfy if i continue eating past that feeling.......i stop eating at my allotted amount which is 1 to 1 1/2 cups of food (sometimes its eyeballed when i am out and about and its salad) but i do listen to my body.....a small baby hiccup, or a baby burp or a (fullness).......i am a total believer in stopping even when you can and you want to eat even more...i truly believe the signs are there for us to use......up to us whether or not we listen to them..

    working out=hungrier

    when i (walk or do my step aerobics) i find i am hungry afterwards...i am assuming because i need to be refueled (gassed up by protein) as i was using my energy by doing my exercise... seems normal to me......i would say eat when hungry and eat Protein first esp since you are a runner (and stay hydrated)........GREAT job on the loss and exercise and running. YOU go

    remember what you felt like 60 pounds ago? did you have to wear bigger clothes? did you feel horrible? horrible enough to seek WLS for assistance? ..........losing 60 pounds is terrific.......and if you want to continue to get well by losing weight (eating great foods, exercising and living), you will keep on doing what you are doing.......because if you dont, you will slowly but surely start regaining what you lost......you have come too far to go backwards..... did this help?

    Food Addict or Just Really Like to Eat?

    i ate sometimes because i felt like i had a big empty hole inside and the more food, the better chance of filling it where in reality, it only filled out my britches almost to the point where i was wearing skirts to fit around my girth.. i am not addicted to food..we must eat to live i was a volumn eater and by my WLS, it has helped with that i now choose to eat better things since i cant eat but so much and now fill that empty hole with (living) great article love reading the wide variety of responses

    me and hub and kabo the doberman walked....i kept a very fast pace (i know fat burns in oxygen) ...it was a mile with 2 steep inclines (my thighs felt it let me tell you).. as nike says...carolina girl, just do it
