all the pre ops (time consuming) and the all liquid 2 week pre and post op's diet

once i found one, i called tricare and made sure they were in network went to mt pcd dr and them write me referral for tricare to approve so i could go for my first visit and get my list of pre ops and i was off and running

i called around my area and tried to find out who accepted tricare

like sojo said of something happens, i hope they see my bracelet i know alot of people wear one and i felt it served me better than a card

good question i just dont have any answer to offer except that i wanted one and if something happens, it may help. who knows as long as i like it, i am fine with it.

all are different i guess. i dont drink after for 30 min (sometimes 15, depends really). i am sure kil and flor could give you better advice on that then i as i am still kinda new

gonna be tough......as i am very strict on myself. dont hate me. just stop drinking the drink during meal times. you can make a choice. your lunch sounds great. stop at a cup and then your done. as kil and flor says, you gotta change what you eat/how much and then just do it. hang in there.

well, all drs are different and they all say different amounts/oz etc.......i eat a cup of food (most of time i am stuffed at 3/4). i eat my protein first (veggies if i can finish) and then i stop. most of my cup is protein. (i also drink a Protein shake for Breakfast so i know i am getting my protein that way all with my dr's okay).

well, not gonna lecture you my friend as we have all been there. you know what to do. and as long as you start (and begin a new day) you will be a success. you can do this, i know you can. just do what you have to do to make yourself well. 1 cup of food at any time. Protein first. fresh fruit/fresh veggies. (and drink alot of fluids) i love peach ice tea from crystal light (buy walmart brand as its cheaper)....you are not alone

just a question *and since being banded, we are not dieting and we can eat whatever we want* but how much fried chicken and ribs are you eating? are you eating over a cup of food at a time? i really dont think eating (fried) foods is good for anyone really (but it sure is yummy)......it could be the food you are eating? ......sorry i wish i could offer more (advice) but i am 3 months out and do not eat fried foods at all,

mine did that the bigger i got (the more insecure i felt about myself) i did not feel attractive at all....and i guess i took alot out on hub....so i can relate.. and with you having such a busy life, its no wonder you just want to sleep. bless your heart

some do and some dont. i guess it just depends on your surgeon. i had a 2 week all liquid diet and had to stop all liquids at midnight before surgery. weird huh.....that so many different stories/things/situations.

am sorry anyone was mean to you (i pray that it was not me). but i have had some hum dinger pm's to me about myself and what i do/say and blog about. so i can relate. like i use to tell my son (and still do) i just say thumper......if you cant say nothing nice, dont say it at all.

well, because i am not as mobile as some (my walking) ended up being up and down my hall at my home. i found the gas just worked its way out and the shoulder pain (i found helped by not only the pain med) but also doing windmill like movement with my shoulders. i would think every step helps. gas x did not seem to help me in the slightest but every one is so different. i lived for my hot shower on my shoulders and lower back. you will do fine. you have a great attitude and a positive attitude. and you got me in your corner, only success allowed
