    Slippage With Plication?

    my surgeon stated (it could help reduce the rate of slippage) but my friend missy is right, even though i have the plicaton, the band rules still apply. (also lowers the need for fills as often-again from my surgeon and others may have their own opinions) but i find its working for me and dont regret for on moment in getting the plication

    dont hate me, but if you know you can eat larger portions, why are you? portion control is key until you have (restriction)........tmf says b52 says that until then, its another diet... are overeating? i eat a cup of food and focus on Protein first i am ure i could eat more but i def use control.. lastly, you are not an idiot. you are someone trying to make themselves well i consider that smart

    first quit weighing so often as you saw for first hand, how fickle scales are better to judge your great success by how loose your clothes are and how much better you are feeling Water weight/pee and poop and sodium etc......who knows why its higher or lower best to weigh once a week or every other week. all the best, sounds like you doing great

    i ask myself this sometimes. here is my responses: animal cruelty of any kind (hate michael vick too) hate traffic (esp in rain and drivers are riding my ass) bright lights (high beam in my rear view mirror) on my way to work in the morning when i break a nail run in my hose hub taking my car and not putting gas in it my pc breaking at work yesterday *banging head loudly on desk* walmart being out of my peach tea that's it for now....what about you

    yes i have felt that then and now, today i work with some young gorgeous gals they ask me to go to bathroom with them during the day, you know how us girls are and i hate it as i know people are yucking at me and lusting for them i feel that way walking down the hall to the bathroom at work (passing people in the building) afraid to go to any stores because am afraid people will laugh at me and afraid to meet anyone new as i feel they would judge the outside and not the inside person yes, i feel like hub would replace me for a thinner person anytime because in my head, (being thin means life is great) but in reality, i know its not true but its hard to get out of my (obese world) sometimes.

    in regards to the calorie intake, did your doctor not give you guidelines to follow? i would confer w/then if you do not know how many calories etc to consume. on this forum, we all are different and you will come across many different numbers and opinions. for this, id def ask the dr to find out what is right for you being hungry, that means you are healing!! great job. as the swelling goes down from surgery, you will get hungry (i know i did). its a good thing for real. you are still very new to having major surgery, dont stress. sip sip sip and rest and allow yourself to heal. (congrats on being banded by the way). i am sure you will do fantastic. you already are

Protein, from what my dr and surgeon and nutritionist said is what is gonna help us (lose weight). its our fuel. i truly believe that. shakes is okay (but we can live on liquids for ever-----jeannie let me know all about that when i came off a month of all liquids.....whoooeeee she laid it out straight to this princess). you are doing so good donna....just keep going. its all we can do. i love knowing i have you guys to keep me going, smiling, and good vibes.

    for me, shredded chicken breast (mixed with mayo/diced winnie onion and egg bits) .........superb and Protein (and i usually eat green beans) .....that is my lunch every day. i am very strict and enjoy eating the same things daily---i think i am weird

    Bad Day, Lessons Learned!

    bad days and bad times happen i think most of us with WLS understands that we have used foods/etc to (appease us and make us feel better) i know i did my MIL is a difficult woman also and def being around her makes me feel like sh** but you know what, its part of life. i try to tell myself to the haters of me (and in my job, there are many) its on you. not me. you are not winning. if i let her (my MIL) or someone get to me, they won. and i am stronger than that. just like you tx. you are gorgeous. so what you didnt eat (right--what is that anyhow) and you didnt exercise (one day wont matter much.....i am sure you walked and moved so that counts) (even more if its good sex)........so to me, you didnt do so bad. hang in there GF

    well, it seems like the other poster is correct, you do not seem to be eating much. but you are wrong. (you are not an idiot). you are a very smart lady and gorgeous to boot. you have to eat to lose weight, the same as you gained it. you just need to eat lean proteins/fruits and veggies. sure protein shakes are okay but you cant live on them. protein has to be 65+ or more a day. you need to get this in order to (lose weight) from what i am understanding. have you seen your nutritionist at all? please do not get rattled at all of this. you are still early on in this process. i think you are doing well. you are you and that is what is important. i dont have any fills so i cannot speak to if you are too tight or not, but you def need to find out if you are (can you drink, can you eat etc). i wish you all the best and sorry you are having this issue.

  23. any and all beans (my faves are pinto (cold pork n/beans w/no pork as i dont eat pig) .......black beans, green beans (i eat daily at lunch) butter and lima....i mean i could and should take flight dont you think???
