you have to help the band in order for it to help you

if your eating hasnt changed, the band or sleeve most likely wouldnt work either you have to help the band to work.....its not a matter of will power, its want to power

you have to sip sip sip all day long......you need to do what you know to do ...i drink 80+ oz per day and i go all day long..hang in there and do better tomorrow

yes you sure do..just like we all had to but whats done is done just try and stick with the dr's orders til surgery fyi--cheating on post op could cause harm so i would advise against it you got to want to make yourself well (not just willing it to be)

i havent had any fills yet but my dr only does fills this way 2 months ago, they xrayed my insides and it was pretty interesting to watch the barium go through

are you eating just a cup of food?

no need to be the worst part is almost over just follow what the dr advises you to do and stay positive congrats on your surgery

mine started at the end of 2nd month and now i am at 4 months out, it seems to be slowing down in regards to losing hair.. i know it seems as if it wont stop, but it will, its what i keep telling myself (i have fine hair) so seeing it around the bath tub drain doesnt make me happy but it is what is ...

the band will eventually help you eat less (with the fills) but its up to us as to what to eat the protein is your fuel and its what feeds you. because we can eat more than a cup of food doesnt mean we should. portion control is key, you are still just a month out and believe it or not, you are still healing. just hang in there.

ok, your having a woe is me day you are entitled to we all have them i wont preach or nag or say what you already know (food, Vitamin wise) allow yourself a day off from (lap band) take the rest of today and tomorrow off if you need and just relax take a hot bath, grab a good book, light some candles (glass of wine perhaps) i know right now you dont think things wont get better, but it will your hair will grow back this forum loves you......including me

when i had emergeny gallbladder surgery, the pain is where you described (my upper back and in between my shoulder blades) would subside after about 20 min but i had this 3 times and ended up in the er 3 different times before hub told dr i was staying til they fix me

what restriction issues? you take small bites, chew alot and go slow........no problems... 4 months out.....going strong

dont laugh...i am very insecure of my size (even though i am losing well in sizes) i am going to get my hair done....in very upscale hair boutique and i am terrified someone will laugh at me or smirk or whisper to themselves or even someone think (what is that fat lady) doing in here.... but i am going i am gonna put my shoulders back got my heels on because yeah i am worth it but still scared......

i drained reg chicken soup of all the noodles and mixed it with water and some broth to tide me over through this phase (i tried to get as low sodium as i could)

you are def showing signs of being too tight if you cant eat, that is not good i would suggest going and getting a slight unfill
