what are you doing wrong? are you serious?? why on earth would you think that? are you eating pizza? are you making runs to burger king? are you hiding snickers in the seat cushions? if so, then no, you wont lose weight.... i mean really, look at what you wrote honey. you are recovering from major surgery less than 2 weeks ago and you have a serious issue right now and are on meds for this. and you are worried about losing a single pound?? like wild and tmf said, losing anything the first month is something you should not worry about your insides are swollen and your body is recovering from being cut open...please rest and take care of yourself (stay off the scale as it changes every time you drink or pee or poop). judge your loss by how lose your clothes are or inches lost....... hang in there....it will get better more concerned with your pnuemonia.... are you doing better with the breathing treatments?

i dont think your shitty i think you are frustrated and upset and i am sorry about that but via another one of your posts, the vast majority of the people here will help you no matter what and i dont think (we are rude) hope you get your wish and that damn thing is removed.

soda on clears?? thats odd but all drs are different i was on clears for a week after surgery and i did okay on it was on 2 week pre and 2 week post all liquids... i agree with band.....get rid of soda now as its bad for the band after (though some still drink it) i highly recommend following your dr's orders

wow.....i was all liquids.......so consider yourself (lucky or thankful) that you can actually eat need to change your thinking though..this is more a mental game...to have the band work you will have to change what you eat.and help the band..that green stuff is good for you and remember that pizza hub brought home is what made us need WLS in the first place...

could have been water retention (or pms) or who knows what...as aj said, going on liquids will help you lose water weight but as soon as you start eating......so eat to lose weight....easy on the snacks....i am a (or i was) a snacker..

you should be able to eat what you want as you are not on a diet....but you do need to use portion control and make good food choices. the band will work if you help it along. are you eating more than a cup of food? just because one can eat more (doesnt mean they should).

i think you all should encourage (me) just saying....... but seriously.....if we dont, then who will?
