for us today:

.....laughter is a great thing......so is a positive attitude...so is great people you meet on a lap band forum and who is dealing with what you are (the band, the surgery, the post ops etc)...its refreshing.....it def is making my journey easier...i can only hope i (help) someone by something i say. granted i dont sugar coat much and tell it like it is w/no holds barred but that is how i expect it. my surgeon is straight talking...jeannie (bandwagon queen) tells me straight up......i wouldnt expect anything less from my b********* friends...... little things that make me happy: my granddaugher (my heart right there)..her gonna be proud of her meme maddysgram (and maddy aj and the state of TX deedee .....my home girl love the new me........also a home girl missy.....GF is freeking amazing sojo.......incredible woman stud muffin (apparently he is lost at sea AGAIN) jeannie----i bow at your feet woman a new dawn and other fabulous woman i talk to on this forum if you are reading this and i dont mention your name, forgive me as i am old and my memory is lacking LOL and all the other friends on this forum i ADORE (elvis included) if i never lost another ounce, i owe a huge thanks to you guys for keeping me positive and upbeat and always here to help/listen support me this is what it is about now.........as far a wabbit huntin i shall send out the dragons and kabo (my doberman) to seek aj and her wittle gun and help her out........ granted i shall stay behind...on my (yes pink lawn chair---call hub to verify) soak up the sun.......and you know, if i hold my nails just right in the sun.....they sparkle

why dont you ask your lap band doctor and see what they say...

awe aint you sweet and you will do great......i know it dont think of this as (oh gosh) think of it as healing and never ever look for the neg...only positive this forum got your back

you will be getting the surgery, not your friend. do what works for you this is the only life you have so you make yourself well do what it takes and listen to yourself, your heart........and your doctor. seems the one that dont know about the surgery or understand it are the ones who raise the most ruckus about it.

ok, so you faced that dreaded number. when i first joined this forum, i didnt tell anyone what i weighed for nearly 3 months.....i was ashamed. but its a number. so what we gotta start somewhere right. race is on......ok, i cant walk far/fast but i am def bringing up the rear

in our office building, there is no smoking allowed i just got back from my trip to the bathroom. right there in stall #3, some lady was sitting there smoking i do not smoke and seriously (hate the stench) and was out of there as soon as i could. (sprayed some victorias secret spray on) to help as its all i smell now talk about rude

which ever you get, you will have to change what you eat and start exercising. and if you dont, you wont have much success. there is good and bad with each but they each can be a life saver (as in my case) but its not a miracle cure all. choose what works for you as you are the one who has to make it work.

can YOU believe it. my coworker went to the potty a bit ago and yet again, the person was in there smoking AGAIN TODAY so she waited til she came out to see whom it was.......and she emailed our buildings (admins) about it and gave the description talk about (someone not giving a ****) about others the outsize area for smokers is bout 20 yards down the hall outside to a nice area with a picnic table. its about 70 here so its a great day. the nerve..i mean really
