well considering where i was........a mere 5 months ago almost...what i am doing now is incredible we were getting my halloween outfit ready a bit ago..

well, we went shopping at walmart.....my knees hurt but i walked a good ways....hub said to stop and rest if i needed too.. i sure hope my little bits gets me back to where i was before i let myself go to pot...

i use whey extreme from walmart (chocolate is my fave) and i use ff skim milk. i blend it via my blender shaker and sometimes i put in freezer to make it to a slush form (i did that on pre and post op) and it was a desert almost. i would guess you can add whatever fruit you want (as long as dr ok's that).

my dr preferred me not to take gummies (said something about clogging or blocking) but i am sure all dr's and people are different. i stick with chewables or liquid

i do know my dr does them under fluro and i always got my wawa with me... i have fluid in my band from surgery but i wont know until my first fill.....the dr says my plication helps me w/not needing fills (and will help keep the number down). i feel kinda lost and (left out) seeing other people's successess w/fills. but i am plugging along...slowly but surely huh... ps---does a smaller fill feel diff then a larger one? i do want and have told dr i want very small fills/conservative. my surgeon says he is sooooooooo surprised that some patients think by keeping the band so tight that they dont realize they are doing wrong...that a person feels if they cant drink/eat that is how the band is suppose to be. i am damn lucky to have my dr. and i am damn lucky to have you guys. i wuvs you

i know that group and the maj of the people in it. the majority lost the vast amount of their weight w/the band (before something happened). that is a fact. who knows why their band (failed??) the bands fault or theirs or a combo of both... that is between them and their dr's. each person is different and each case is different. yes the band works yes the band fails yes the person can be the cause yes the person is not the cause it could be the surgeon or the band or whatever. things happen. this is why the dr goes over all of this pros and cons and stresses we must do the follow up and advise them if something doesnt feel right or if some thing is wrong. letting something fester doesnt help. i signed paperwork stating i was told this fact. i feel for anyone who has had problems with any WLS. i also feel everyone should make up their own mind. come to the decision that is right for them. and go for it. ps-i no longer venture on that forum because i was on there before my band and was scared out of my mind with the horror stories.

------need to talk to my b**** friends-------- i havent had a fill yet due to my success thus far w/losing and also due to my plication doing its job. i am so blessed to have this tool (along w/my band) and my GF's on here... that being said....fills..i am not scared of getting one. that is not the case/issue. i am scared because i dont know how i tell if its in the zone i read so much about? i also dont wanna pb or slime or whatever that stuff i read ALOT about... ok. that is whats on my mind at the moment i have no idea when i will (if ever) get one. surgeon said we will take it month by month. so when/if i ever get a fill, tell me how do you know when its enough or not enough...

........shall i wear my FM shoes or what............geesh.... and here i thought only haters loved me.....
