we dont get anyone at our home/neighbor hood there are not any kids on our street but thats okay. the dogs would just scares them away anyhow

cant speak for the fill stuff as i have no idea bout any of that. i am bout as dumb as i am gorgeous when it comes to that....however i can understand the scared of being stuck. i havent did that either and i am terrified of it.... new job?? that is great. you will rule the office GF i have no doubt. you got us b**** on your side here, there, everywhere

drinking shakes to lose weight was to help prepare our bodies for surgery. contemplating just doing shakes/sliders for life is silly and is kinda like what get the band if you are not gonna eat?? i say that because jeannie of bandwagon asked me that same question when i stated to her i was afraid to eat bc i may (gain). def changed my thinking. did your dr give you a hand out of what to eat or not? i agree w/cheryl, bread was not on my mush list either. i am nearly 5 months post op and dont eat bread/rice/pasta i focus on Protein, fresh veggies/fruit.....and i drink alot... i also recommend staying off the scale for awhile or weighing so much as you are still 2 weeks out and still healing.

ok, aj......tell me, are you trick or treating? we dont have kids at our neighbor hood. i think most people know we got dobermans and stay away.. anyhow, alot of people dressed up here at work..... joe, my kid brother wanna be, came in a diaper and pacy and bib... freeking incredible..

do i feel better? yes. i am down nearly 80 pounds and i am more mobile then i have been in 2+ years. i have dropped 8 pant sizes and i am def more positive and outgoing and feeling like a million bucks. so yeah i feel better and me doing the pre op (and following my doctors orders) have helped me start my journey of getting well. its hard yes but would you rather stay where you are at weight wise? make that decision and go for it...and make it count....dont cheat yourself.

if it is hurting ((this bad)) as you are writing please call your doctor they can advise you or offer you a different pain med perhaps..(some of us have more pain tolerance then others). since he is your doctor, i am sure he would not want you to suffer so.

i sent you 2 pics of my *head* please note that was extremely hard for me to do. as i have a very very fat face. also, i may do a full body shot (minus head) at surgery weight and as i am today....promise you wont laff at me....

cheryl in my opinion, you losing 100+ pounds ...(i dont care if it was done/accomplished in a week or 5 yrs)....its a damn success story. you are an inspiration to any of the people on this forum who care about themselves or want to ((support)) other people who are trying to get well. you got class and it shows. i am a newbie still and dont know alot of the banded life but i do know to offer compassion to others who are newbies or prebies or those who have had problems. We have all been there in needing help with our weight.

walmart has them in a variety of flavors as does most grocery stores and now even at convenience stores when you get gas. (i dont like them but i did them usually once a day on my pre ops) and i do have some in my fridge at work just in case i feel i need a (shot). hope this helps ps-the watermelon flavor is the worst...yuk

what are you going to be if you are dressing up? i am going as a biker chick, black jeans, black boots, black sweater (helmet, bandana, chains, leather, slave bracelets, skull glasses, my hubs angel helmet/vest)

wouldnt eat no how missy.......dont try to suck up now but its understandable.......we are more forgiving but we never will forget......just saying
