Eating After Surgery
☠carolinagirl☠ replied to ladymarshall's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
it was hard to drink/sip fluids as you are swollen but my surgeon advised to sip as often as i can to stay hydrated and i also lived on popsicles which were my life savers. as the days pass, it will get easier but def work on sipping as much protein as you can as they is your fuel and will fill you up. i did and do the chewables *my dr advised me no gummies* but all dr's are different hang in there okay you can do it -
forgot how great you are at huntin wabbitts..... i am most proud of my texas gal friend your a success and its clear as to why

Much more valuable than your Crayola collector’s tin, a Japanese man is attempting to auction off the Earth on Yahoo Auctions. Even weirder, at the time of this writing, the auction has 2,772 bids, with the current price sitting at 9,912,356,678 Yen, or about $123,472,279, with four days remaining. The auction initially started at $0.86, but has since caught fire. We assume the winner isn’t actually going to pay hundreds of millions of dollars, but this is pretty fun nonetheless. The auction is full of amusing (or terrifying, depending on how you view it) little tidbits. In the product description, the seller claims that God gave him the planet, so it’s now his to auction. The seller asks bidders to consult the shipping method. The item description also says the seller requires bidders to give him a letter of purchase intent so he knows the bidders are serious about purchasing the item. The planet is listed as an authentic item, and unfortunately, there is no return policy. The items’ Q&A section is also quite amusing, with bidders inquiring about what kind of shape the back of the item is in, as there’s no picture. Another asks if the item comes with a reset button in order to return to the past. One bidder asks if the winner of the item will become a god upon successful purchase, and the seller responded simply by saying no. http://mashable.com/...auctions-earth/

Pressure On Sternum
☠carolinagirl☠ replied to Banderina's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
i agree new dawn well band, i am not sure if you had a hernia repair also (i did) and it hurt to breath or move and etc,,,,,it was uncomfortable to say the least i would take some more tylenol and as new dawn says, use a heat pad if that helps (i mean it is gonna take some time) as you are still swollen and healing. BUT, if it hurts so bad you are about at your wits end, give your dr a jingle and them know just in case. hang in there GF its not easy but it is worth it -
fabulous post GF your choosing and making excellent choices is showing in your words and what you are losing in inches/pounds. so soso soso proud of you YOU are amazing

Why Is Port Area Still Sore After 15 Days Post Op ?
☠carolinagirl☠ replied to marketingdude's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
that feeling (of tearing or stretching) is your scar tissue forming. our bodys were cut and this item was (attached) to our skin/muscle. so yeah, its gonna be sore. my port was (sore/tender) for nearly a month. sitting and especially standing. nothing worth fretting over unless its red, hot to the touch or oozing.. -
my port is on my right side (under my breast). my incision scar is a very faded pink now that is about 1 1/2 inches long..it is under the skin (i can feel it as i lose more weight) and feels like a hard spot under my skin... hope this answers your question.
