well, you are healng so you will get more hungry..you have to really over indulge alot to stretch..so no worries...
the more you drink, the less you eat (and satisfies if you arent truly hungry..as it does me)....and helps me fell (full)
good question......the other items are in between the shakes (or this is how i see it). careful with juices unless they are sugar free..just sip sip sip......

i eat cheese (in small amounts) because it is good in the protein but its also high in fat. (i have the low fat cubes) and have them in little mini bags for a quick grab snack. (but def eat sparingly)

i had to do decaf before surgery. after they said i can do decaf or half and half...so that is what i do....but always refer to your dr if you want to know any answers that relate to you as you will get different opinions on here..
i can so relate...i take the cvs brand of liquid tylenol. i asked my surgeon about motrin and midol and he recommended me not too. i am sure some will say yes or not but if in doubt, call and ask your doctor. he may say yes.
oatmeal (super runny) was not advised to me until week 3 post op. but we are all different. if you want to know the answer to your question, call the dr and ask. they will say yes or no. congrats on your recent surgery todd, good to see you again,
