    i drink right up until i eat and then wait 30 min after i like feeling the band telling me enough ...my hub drinks his dindin through and i realize i use to also without tasting it... just goes to show how dr's are all different. just do what your dr suggests is best

    hardest bandster rule to follow for me..

    like floridays, the carbonation was the hardest i loved coors light and i loved diet soda.......stopped both day i started pre op

    i do not mean to rude, so forgive me, but you wrote 3 things about why you cant...you need to find a way you can.... do what you have to to make yourself well.

    i found that as you heal, the appetite comes back it did with me..here is the mind over matter (want power)...cant stress enough to stay hydrated and use that protein as fuel....terry, keep up the good work..been reading your posts since you started, great attitude

    Port pain

    the pain around the port hurt me the worst..it wasnt brutal, just uncomfortable...they cut you skin, sewed a plastic thing to your muscle, so yeah its gonna hurt, be sore, a pulling sensation and then tender as it heals,,,mine stopped at a month out.. if you are concerned, the other girls are right, refer to your dr always

    Pass the Small Fork...

    i use a small salad plate and a small bowl when i eat (at work also) but use reg sized utensils...thought about it in the beginning about using wee ones but never did. screw what anyone thinks, do what you want if it works is how i see it

    well (soup) is liquid so i am sure it was okay (the fill will swell so if any clumps, it may hurt going down)..but for real, i have read your posts since you started and you need to focus on doing what is right so you can be a success..follow the rules.. you went through alot to have this surgery..you deserve to treat yourself better...your are your queen i appreciate your kind words, but if i dont follow the rules, i will be back over 300 like that....hang in there rhonda

    well, there is no wrong or right foods only better choices.....by choosing to eat (bad, high fat, high calorie) you will not lose and could very well gain...you need to eat veggies and fruit and lean proteins in small amounts (stop eating at 1 cup of food)....junk food is junk...that is what got us all to need wls in the first place.. you can read on the internet and on this forum what to eat, suggestions, guidelines, there is no excuse to not know...so start today by believing in yourself...leave the junk foods where they belong, on the shelf at the grocery store.

    as always b.......honest speaking and telling it like it is... you have always inspired me and i dont see that changing anytime soon. your are right,,and i wish people would just LET the band work
