    cant say that i have, but everyone is different. i would think if something doesnt feel (right) that going to your dr is the best decision...most likely its nothing but who knows...hope to read later that its scar tissue or something..think happy positive thoughts.

    that is the exact reason i did not cheat. i can honestly say that and its not said with arrogance it was done solely so i did not wake up and dr said, guess what. it made me try harder.

    No pounds but see the difference

    your losing weight just because the scale isnt moving (or up one day) doesnt mean you are not losing as you obviously are (by looking at your pretty self in the mirror). to me, and my opinion only, losing inches means more to me that what a scales finicky variances say....if your clothes are looser, then yep you are losing. (it could be up by TOM, sodium, not drinking enough, who knows)...congrats on doing a great job

    could be TOM, too much sodium intake (as a comment was) or who knows...keep drinking alot..and it sounds as if you are doing well with your food etc.so i truly wouldnt worry (unless you are overeating the wrong foods as you would only know and i bet you are doing GREAT ).....go by how loose your clothes are..to me, losing inches means more to me then what a finicky scale says as it varies so often...encouragement, believe in yourself and know without a doubt that you are helping the band. because if you truly are, it will help you (even if the scale is up).....doesnt mean it is...hang in there okay.

    Decreased restriction

    i wonder about that myself. i am 9 months w/no fill but even still, focused solely on my portion allotment and being very aware of my cal consumption and not go over more cals than i can burn off. i have read many posts that as people lose, their stomachs shrink/band gets loose.......now i have no idea if that is true or not but it could be. do you have an appt soon with your doctor? maybe as summer said, its time for a fill...

    like tom, i dont do many (burps).....very rarely but i do get (baby hiccups) as my sure sign that its time for me to stop eating or slow down ole woman

    Am I Hungry or Am I Hungary?

    on my pre op i found out what head hunger was and what real hunger was if someone is eating, or its lunch/dinner time, of course i wanna eat..head hunger if i am hungry, or think i am, i drink something first to see if its a sign that i am just thinking i am or not..........its usually me thinking i am hungry. but if i am hungry, i eat protein.
  15. out of the blue today a co worker of mine (who i rarely see) as she is in another part of the office/building... well she came up to me this morning and said, you are looking so great. i could only think of one thing to say, thank you.. *strange how something from someone can make you whole day*

    Water

    i just have about 3 Water bottles (that hold 36 oz) i know i need to drink alot and so i drink 3+ those per day regardless........i found a drink flavor for my water that i like and just do it...as i know it (helps) my progress. never heard of the rubber band thing either.

    Certain time

    i had to do 3 shakes a day..(the first week) and the 4 (my 2nd week) so i did one when i got up about 6, then around noon (lunch time) around 5ish (supper) and then about 9 its really up to you like ms erin said...i did (and do now) what works for me.

    I am becoming obsessed with my weight

    just because that pesky scale is not moving, does not mean you are not losing i bet you are and you dont realize it. if you are doing your Protein and not eating more calories than you burn off, i am sure you are doing well.....because the scale has so many variances, i bet if you started doing how much in inches you are losing, you will see there is nothing to obsess over.

    2 week diet

    just realize its not easy and there will be times you wanna say f**k this just keep busy, keep drinking and understand its just readying your body for surgery.. around day 5, i realized it wasnt soo bad.and so will you...so just hang in there and stay positive...the light is there at the end of the hallway..dont turn it off

    i drank right up til night before i started my pre op i drank my diet pepsi and my coors light it boiled down to me either deciding to do it or not i had to make a change by getting the lap band. i wanted/needed to lose weight..so i found want power

    never ever thought id survive without my diet soda iv but day i started preop, havent had one since i had headache for about 4 or 5 days, detoxing i guess but good riddance....i choose to listen to what my dr says. he said no more carbonation, so no it is. however some will say they drink a soda or beer or whatever. i say do what your dr says and not worry about what anyone else does or dont because it dont matter..

    The stigma of Cosmetic Surgery

    saggy is based on alot of things age, weight, persons skin, their heritage etc...everyone is different. if you are large like me, there is gonna be saggy....there is skin surgery and you can exercise and tone as best you can OR you can do what i am doing, living with it. id rather have a saggy a s s and thighs and bat wings then my scale to show 330+

    liquid tylenol, hot baths, giving myself a time out when i need it.......and tell hub to go find something to do today and get out of the house........hey i warned him..
