stay busy, and drink alot.....(as you heal, you find you will gt more hungry..i know i did).. its def a (mind over matter thing)....hang in there, it will get better

men, what can you do with them:

my dr told me if i didnt change what i eat, begin to exercise and change my diet mentailty, no WLS surgery would help me......i feel its helped me because i am helping the band and my plication....some are now saying this will (help more)..who knows...depends on the persons level of want power.

stop worrying about something that may or may not happen (complications not losing) grammy was right, follow your dr advises you to do and you will lose.. my advice, believe in yourself and let the band work.

sounds like you are healing and scar tissue is forming..i was (tender) for about a month..no pain, just tender..it will get better..just go slow

if hungry (and not just bored/or think you are hungry) eat just eat good healthy Protein filled foods.....and drink drink drink the band wont make you not hungry.....

when i started pre op, i was told no more soda......and for 2 1/2 weeks, i detoxed if you will...but the dr gave me on my handout, the day before, i could have soda....so at work, me and my friend joe, got a cold diet pepsi and we poured some into a small cup.....we were having a good bye toast....let me tell you, 1 small sip after 2 1/2 weeks, and i spit it right out. IT WAS NASTY..... but when i hear someone opening a can or see one in a cold fridge, i sometimes want one......esp coors light... but ah is the life i chose as a lap bander.

when i had my surgery, they repaired the hernia i have no idea if (they charged my tricare ins or not) i wish i had a better answer for you here..you can call your insurance and ask them if you had to have a repair, what is the cost.

i hear you sharon......excellent weight loss for you. you are losing because you are adhering to the lifestyle, eating better food in smaller amounts and just doing it w/o excuses. be responsible for what you do or do not do. there is no cant.......there is only I WANT this..
