well i just (assumed) my large incision was the port. i was so fat (i couldnt feel the port) and had to ask the dr was he sure he put the band in me? ......remember i was the one who asked my dr does acrylic nails affect the band.....picture me having a stupad moment there...HAHA

i know being hungry will make you want to eat sooner than what the doctors instructions advise you and you may think just alittle won't hurt.....but sometimes it is just best to hang in there and tough it out...sure call and ask the dr is it okay and then if it is, go for it.....but remember, if you give in now, will you give in later too?......

you and i were banded the same day. how sweet is that?? well, remember when we started? nothing has changed except now we have a pretty necklace in our tummy to help us eat less food...just eat good filling foods/drink alot and WOW look at what you have lost..my dear you are a walking success..never forget that and that is freeking amazing.....like mis said, can you visit your nutritionist and get a refresher?.....do what works for you...i am so proud of my banded sister...

here is another (observation) http://www.wlshelp.c..._medium=twitter let me add, i stand by my belief that the small risk of band surgery was WORTH saving my life...i also stand by the fact that ANY surgery can have complications... msmaui, i find that until you had complications, the band actually helped you lose weight and you seem to forget that...sorry if that is rude but i find your constant harping of the band failures also rude...... yes you are able to post what you want, good and bad....and i respect that and i support you and your recent surgery....

i use this product and have for a long time..it lasts a long time (so the 40 dollars lasts about 8 months) it it not greasy in my opinion and soaks up in my skin fast... i havent seen your face on fb but i am sure you are gorgeous (with or without wrinkles) ps: i have noticed under my chin, i have some i do NOT like but will just live with and hope..my hope in a jar works

she said she'd eat and the foods came back up.......from what i read/understand, that is maybe due to a band being too tight or taking too big of bites perhaps?? i mean you can eat what you want only in smaller amounts...but .....she made her decision

i love to eat also but i love being healthy more.. this lady did not try to (mentally change) this is what i feel and why i felt she failed the band. she admitted she overate the wrong things... you gotta want it for it to work.

it will help you (whichever WLS) if you help it by following the instructions to use it properly (eating good food/exercising).....just my opinion.

sounds like as you are healing the hunger is returning. now is the time to get use to eating your protein (first) to help you feel full and stay full longer) and keep drinking as much as you can.

*hugs to you gals who mentioned me* the dr advised me this (plication) would assist me in losing weight..just (having the plication) wont make the band work any faster unless i changed what i ate and how much and begin moving my rear end that was the size of a mack truck. i believe it to be true...those with the plication and those without it can lose weight and they also can gain weight...its up to the person to use the tool correctly. i feel if someone thinks having the plication will give super magic powers, they maybe mistaken.....it will help yes, but the person has to help the band and plication. mad is a success and does not have plication shr and me have the plication and are doing well..... the three of us are eating right, eating the allotted amounts and just doing it. and not depending on (what we have inside our tummy) to define if we will lose weight or not. my 3 cents

boy could i put a hurt on some cocoa krispies and raisin bran...i look at them every so often at the store...but for me, i choose not to stick with oatmeal and add raisins/cranberries etc...but heck, if you want to eat cereal, eat it and enjoy it
