Hi all! I am 2 weeks post op. I had the lapband. I have lost 18 lbs so far. I am finding it harder though to try and stay on track with my boyfriend around. Any advice?

Haha that is an option. lol jk Yeah, I know there is always going to be someone. We live together so it definitely makes it hard. Especially because he doesn't care about what he eats. It's getting easier but it is definitely going to take some time. What surgery did you have? Thanks for the advice. BTW -

I had no medical issues aside from the fact that I was very overweight. So like you I was afraid I wouldn't get approved. But I went through the motions and got approved. If your doctor strongly recommends it and have reasons why you need it hopefully you will get approved. I also have PCOS also and BCBS. I hope you get approved! -
One Week Since Being Banded

I am 2 weeks post op with the band. I've lost 18lbs so far. The first week was the hardest for me but it has gotten easier with time. Best advice is stay on track with your diet. There were definitely a few times where I wanted to cheat but you need to make sure your stomach heals. I started out at 277 and am down to 259. I am so excited for this journey as well!
