I say if it isn't broke, don't fix it...If it's working for you then great, if it stops working for you then re-adjust. I am 8 weeks out and can only get in about 700 calories a day, my NUT wants me to get to 1000 a day...How do you like the cross fit? I was thinking about trying it but I heard it's so hard, is that true?

I had some back pain the first week after surgery as well...I think it was mostly just from the surgery itself and sitting and laying down a lot the first week..After that when I was walking around more and moving more, my back pain subsided.

I think every surgeon is different in the way they do the surgery and where the incisions are, but I have 4 very small scars in different places on my belly..

I have the Leslie Sansone tapes too and love them...I just bought the new 5 mile one too, gives you a different exercise for each day and different miles...

I just had to fill out a questionaire, he asked me a couple of questions, and I was done..very easy..

Do you take classes or just online? I was thinking about doing the cross fit, but was told it's like military style training? So I am taking kettlebell classes right now instead..Will have to check it out online..You look great..

My NUT told me that I should be at 1000 calories, so I don't think the calories are the problem..

I don't have any answers for you but just wanted to say that I'm sorry you are going through this and I hope they are able to help you and make you better soon!

I couldn't wait to start purees! Or any food for that matter, LOL...just take it slow and eat when you feel comfortable..you will do fine though..good luck.

I'm 6 weeks post op and my advice to you is don't stress over it..My NUT told me to just do what I can for the first month..It's almost impossible to get it all in, just do the best you can and you will do fine..Just keep sipping regularly so as not to get dehydrated...Every day will get easier, good luck to you..

I specifically asked my surgeon that question, "If the sleeve can stretch"..His response to me was absolutely. He said it is still your stomach, it's not a fake stomach they put in that could never stretch, so if you were to overeat, over time, it will stretch..

I have measured myself and it does help..when I was in a 2 week stall on the scale, I took my measurements again and had lost 5 inches, so that made me feel better..I love avocado's! I eat them all the time but didn't know about with meals..Would love to read the article when you get a chance to upload it, thanks..

I'm 5 weeks post op and my sense of smell (especially for food) is crazy..I haven't had any taste changes in food, only in temperature..I used to drink room temperature drinks and now I have to have them ice cold..Before surgery all I drank was Water and now I don't like it unless I have some kind of flavor in it..But no changes in food tastes..

I'm guessing because your BMI was low to begin with it's going to come off slower..I'm in the same boat, it sucks but atleast it's coming off right? Hang in there, eventually we will meet our goal..

They take it out before they wake you up, no worries..

I'm post op 5 weeks and just had my first piece of watermelon last night..Delish...Only could eat 2 chunks of it though, but it was still good..LOL

I totally relate to what you are saying, and the best advice that I have to offer is to maybe try some counseling? If you haven't already...

Congratulations! That's awesome, I can't wait to be where you are and feel that feeling one day..

I feel the same way! I've always kept all the different sizes and I'm cringing (but happy) about getting rid of them. I'm 5 weeks post op and I'm losing so slow that it makes me nervous to get rid of them so soon too...We should all have a "get rid of our big clothes" party weekend as Nicola said!

Does risk of leak ever go away?

My surgeon told me that he can't guarantee that I will "never" get a leak, but he said after 6 weeks you are completely healed..
