    February Bandsters?

So glad to know that you are doing so well now and the negatives are behind you. I too would do this again if I would need to but with luck and conscientious effort I won't have to! Take care!
  2. 11 days post op and I see the Surgeon on Thursday. Can't wait to see what he says about my weight loss and possibly starting the next step. I've been drinking since 1/23 and really would love to "eat" something even if it is pureed food. A different taste in my mouth is all I hope for. Hope all of the other February Bandsters are doing as well as I am and to the future Bandsters: Best of luck!

    February Bandsters?

I also had a hernia fixed while they were in there but haven't had too much pressure in my chest. Lots of pressure in my lower abdomen however like in my intestines. Guess they aren't used to what I'm putting in their yet and hope that all gets regulated soon. Other than that, I am doing great. No pain meds and the pain in my legs has finally subsided. Now I can walk more. Hope you get to feeling better but if it doesn't pass, call the doctor or pa. They will let you know what should be normal or not.

I am back to work also after just 3 days. My surgery was Friday at noon and I was home by 7:30 PM. Actually went to my grandson's basketball game Saturday afternoon. Best of luck to you both as we continue on this journey.
  5. Surgery was actually not as bad as I expected. Was awake and walking soon after and allowed to go home soon thereafter. I have been on pain meds just for two days and haven't taken any more since Sunday am. So glad that I didn't experience any of the major pain from gas as I have read on this forum. None at all, actually. I am now trying to add the protein shakes back into my diet little at a time and do feel some discomfort from bloating but I hope this subsides soon. All in all I wo...

Now cold had time to wain. Hope you get better in time and I agree, coughing and sneezing won't be fun after surgery! Don't forget the PILLOW!!!
