Good evening, Violets. Choir is done and I'm whipped. Just finished supper. I had a couple bites of pot roast and just wasn't that into it. Bob is having the potatoes and carrots and gravy. I'll make a strawberry and cream concoction in a little bit and call it a day. All I've had today is tuna and soy nuts.. Breakfast and lunch and just a few almonds around 4:00. Just don't seem to be hungry. I'll watch some tv tonight and head to bed early and hope I can get some sleep. Ethan comes at 8 again tomorrow for the day. Laura... great pics of Carson. I remember Kris's pictures.. the baby looked like melting candle wax.. lol 2 and a half more weeks and I'll know if it's Madison or Grady. She's finally cut back to working 2 days a week. She's on her feet all day and I'm glad she's going to start taking it easy. Kat... so glad Manda is home and feeling better. We need to call our CPA tomorrow and make an appointment to get our taxes done. With all of Bob's jobs and our portfolio and special things having to do with clergy, it's way easier, though much more costly, for us to have them done instead of doing them ourselves. Michelle...enjoy your quiet time with DH away. Sometimes I appreciate having a little time to myself. Just got off the phone with DD Kris. She is an LPN and has been working 4 days a week on her feet all day. She asked for Wednesdays off and was granted that, but then asked for Mondays off too because it's their busiest day. They told her yes yesterday, today they told her no so she said tomorrow is her last day. She was crying and thought she was going to go into labor. She wants to come back to the job after 12 weeks, but isn't sure they will have her back now and that frustrates her. Her DH Nathan is going to call tomorrow and tell them how upset he is with them. For gosh sakes, she's 9 months pregnant, due to deliver in 2 and a half weeks and standing on her feet all day!! They are making unreasonable demands. I worked up until delivery, but I was able to teach from a chair and was still exhausted by the end of the day. I don't know how she's worked this long. Will have to wait and see what happens tomorrow. Going to watch some tv and head to bed early. Hope every has a good night. Sleep well.

Good afternoon, Violets.. I'm back from my flute rehearsal and just finishing up some tuna salad and soy nuts for lunch. I had the same thing for breakfast. I think I'm in a rut. BUT, I have a pot roast with onions and mushrooms, carrots and potatoes in the crock pot for supper tonight after choir. Or at least I will have it in as soon as the Bobster goes out and gets me some baby carrots. He's too busy reading his newspaper right now. We're not eating until 7:30 so I still have time. I feel like a zombie today with the lack of sleep last night. Wish I could take a nap, but Ethan won't cooperate and I don't want to leave him with Bob cause I did that this morning for 2 and a half hours. Hope all our missing Violets are ok...Laura has posted on facebook.. but not in here.. hmmmmmmm

Good Morning, Violets.. Had a horrible night last night. I tossed and turned all night and just watched the hours go by on the clock. I don't know why, but I'm gonna be one pooped puppy today. I have flute rehearsal at 9 and Ethan all day and then choir tonight. Hope I survive. I'm going to have to stop weighing in each morning. My eating has been perfect.. no slip ups at all and I'm up another pound this morning. I'm not going to weigh in until Sunday and hope for a loss. Janie... great for you with the fill! That will make a big difference. You CAN do it!! Kat.. so relieved that Manda is doing better. I was really worried about the MRSA results.. TracyK.. hope the eye is better today. All my Violets have a great day. Make good choices and drink, drink, drink. Where's Suzie?? Laura must be lost in Tunica!!

I have an elliptical, recumbent bike, glider and Wii fit. I try and get 30 minutes of exercise a day, but lately I've been slacking. Time to get back in the groove. I also have several exercise DVD's.

142 Days till the Violet Reunion Bandiversary Bash and 1st ever Violet Baby Shower! __________________ -
Good afternoon, Violets.. I'm back from my hospital shift. Had 2 and a half hours worth of work to do. Usually it's about and hour and a half, but they were really down on the patient education packets. I copy the papers and collate them and stick them in folders with all the information pamphlets. I think I made close to 100 folders up today. Kat.. so glad to hear Manda is doing better. That has to be so scary. Did she get her MRSA results back? Can't believe the snow we're getting right now. It looks like a snow globe outside and somebody shook it really hard!! Glad I don't have anything until rehearsal tonight at 7. The Bobster is out shoveling the snow away from the mailbox so the mailman doesn't have to get out of his car to put things in the mailbox. I'm ready for a cruise, for sure! Only a month and a half and I'll be in Hawaii. Unreal!!!! Janie..hang in there. A fill will definitely help you. I know I'm finally at my sweet spot. I just needed to break my bad grazing habits and bad choice habits. The 5 day test sure got me back on track. But even still with eating wisely and correct portions, I'm stuck at 174 and can't seem to budge it. I want to lose 10 more pounds before Hawaii. I'll keep doing what I'm doing and hope it shows up as a loss sooner or later. Off to surf the net and do some laundry. I need to check out my new exercise video too while Ethan isn't here. BBL.........

Good morning, Violets. I woke up late this morning with the sound of WeatherBug chirping a severe weather warning. Looks like 3-5 inches of snow before noon today. We have about 3 inches of new snow already. The Bobster cleaned my car off cause I have to head to my hospital shift. Then it's a lazy day til singing rehearsal tonight. TracyK.. glad your eye is getting better. TracyinKS...if the blood was bright red, then it's probably hemmies. I've had that often. PamELa..hang in there!!! YOU can do it. Did you know about the library fine before you got the notice?? Take deep breaths, say "Loooocy, I'm home.. and knock it out of the park.. Kat... prayers continuing today for Manda and you. Keep us informed. Laura... where you at, mommy??? Haydee and Michelle..great work yesterday on the eating and exercise!! Suzie, Terry, Janie, Jenn, Heather and anyone I missed... have a great day and make good choices. I can honestly say once again.. WWJD!! Off to get dressed for the day.... bbl. ...

Piehole Report Breakfast: 1/2 cup tuna salad and soy nuts Lunch: 3 smelt, couple bites of ribs (Pb'd) strawberries, mango and cream with Splenda Supper: 1 cup potato corn chowder with sausage 1 liter water.... second one is in the freezer til later Might have some more fruit and cream tonight, but right now I'm not hungry. No exercise except running after Ethan today.

Al Roker had gastric bypass surgery, not lapband. ... an open secret around NBC, but Roker has refused to discuss the gastric bypass operation March 15 that allowed him to ...

Kat!!! That's horrible!!! I can't imagine having to wait that long for treatment. I'm so glad I live in a small town. That would never happen here. That is totally unacceptable!! Prayers for Manda that the antibiotics do their job. You stay strong and remember we're all here with you. Distance can't stop purple power and prayers.

Awwwww, thanks. It really helps to stand or sit next to a 9 months pregnant woman.. :w00t::tt2:

Ethan is on the couch after a tantrum. He didn't want Grandma to bowl on the Wii. Welllllll.. he's got another think coming if the thinks he won't be sharing. I tried to eat left over ribs from Friday night, but they didn't go down. I put them in the garbage and am now trying to get the pressure feeling to go down. I pb'd a little, but I can still feel them. I should have stuck with tuna and soy nuts. Think I'll buzz up some frozen strawberries, cream and Splenda for a treat. It's 21 degrees here and overcast and gloomy. Nothing on my agenda except babysitting and making some soup for supper. Michelle and Haydee.. sounds like you two would be perfect band buddies.. you're almost the same weight to the pound. Keep each other in line!!! TracyK.. hope the meds work on the eye quickly. What did the doc say it was?? TracyinKS.. hugs to you as you work out the issues with Cody and Robby. You've got your hands full for sure, but you're strong and at least everyone is on the same page now. PamELa.. how's the tattoo feeling today??? It sure look red and sore in the pics. Heather.. I'm not persuaded any which way and I don't like to see the eyeballs of anything I'm eating!! Much as I love shrimp, I've never had it whole with the head on. I'd pass on that. Off to make my fruity treat..

Joshua is my son. And Jami is the best daughter in law anyone could have. She's an awesome mom, working to get her RN in May and running the household at the same time. She was pregnant with Amelia when she started the nursing program. I give her all the credit in the world. Did you notice how tall DSIL Nathan is????

Good morning, Violets.. I've been up for an hour already. Checked all my messages, made breakfast (tuna and soy nuts) cleaned up the kitchen, finished my jumble word puzzle and set up the Wii for Ethan who arrived a few minutes ago. My scale isn't budging, but neither am I. I'm not going to give up the no sugar, lo-carb, correct portions, no snacking I've been doing for a month now. Maybe one of these days there will be a big wooooooooooosh and I'll drop a pound or two. I feel smaller so that is a motivator. Michelle... good girl la la la-ing. I wouldn't want to shatter that image you have of me!!:w00t::tt2: Ethan is here for the day so I'll be Wii'd out by this afternoon. I'm going to try and get tax stuff all organized today so we can meet with our tax guy and get things taken care of soon. Hopefully we'll get some money back or at least break even. Everyone have a great day!! Make good choices and drink that water!! Oh... losingjustme had her baby boy on Friday. What a cutie patootie little baby Joshua..

146 Days till the Violet Reunion Bandiversary Bash and 1st ever Violet Baby Shower! :tongue2: -
Good evening, Violets.. Just back from watching the Super Bowl. I was wishing the Cardinals would win and they made a good run, but not to be. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED Jennifur Hudson's singing. She nailed it! I only had a handful of nuts I picked out from the trail mix. There were lots of chips and dips and cheese, but I stuck with the nuts. I've had a great day of eating and am going to continue this month. I have GOT to get closer to goal! Everyone sleep well.. see you in the morning.

Good evening, Violets.. We are headed to Kris and Nathan's to watch the Super Bowl on the biggggggggg screen TV. Kris said she's not cooking or cleaning for us, so that's kewl. I don't want to be tempted by tons of food. The Bobster and I split an omelette this morning and I pb'd it. Came home and made a fruit smoothie with strawberries, mango, Splenda and cream buzzed up. It sure tasted good. I took a nap and just finished 1/4 cup french onion soup left over from a take out order from Kris on Friday. It was yummy too. The Bobster did me proud with his sermon this morning. He was soooooooo good. It was one of the first times that the pastor trumped the choir. And I thought the choir was really good too!! So next week the regular pastor is back and it will be back to the boring, **yawnnnnnnn** sermons again. TracyK.. glad you're getting settled in and that you're feeling better except for the eye stuff. Hugs to you from me... PamELa.. all I can say is OUCH!! It's going to be beautiful, but better you than me, for sure!!!!!!! I got a new DVD in the mail yesterday.. some 6 minute ab thingy from QVC. It comes with straps. If the ab exercises don't work out I think the Bobster and I can figure out something to do with the straps.............. ooooooooooooo Judy didn't say that, did she????? Everyone enjoy the game.. Go Cardinals!!!!! (they ARE playing, aren't they?? ) Gooooooooooooo Commercials!!! BBL.........

Good Morning, Violets.. We got home at midnight and had an awesome time with the grandkids and their mom and dad. I didn't take a bathing suit cause I didn't want to go home with wet hair. I wore a sweater and cords and yes, it was 84 degrees in the water park, but we didn't stay long there. DD Kris, the Bobster and I went to the hall and looked through the window and then did a little shopping. I resisted temptation and Kris said she was proud of me. They had humungous desserts, several of which are my favorites, but I only got tempted with 2 yogurt smoothies during the day that I shared with Kris and the Bobster. Other than that, my eating was under control. No sugar and lo-carb. And was I rewarded on the scale this morning????? nope.. still at 173 and can't seem to budge it. BUT, it's a new month and if I do half as well this month as last, I'll be a happy camper. Kris was really exhausted by the time we got home last night. At 3 weeks from delivery, it was a very long day and long ride in the car. She is supposed to come to church this morning to hear her dad, but I told her not to if she was too tired. We bought her a cute little dragon that laughs when you squeeze it to put in the baby's room. I better get going and get my hair curled and make up on so we can head to church. First time in a long time that the Bobster and I will be going to church at the same time in the same place!! Everyone have a great day!!

147 Days till the Violet Reunion Bandiversary Bash and 1st ever Violet Baby Shower! -
Good morning, Violets.. I'm up early so we can head out 2 hours away to Great Wolf Lodge to meet up with the other grandkids for the day. It's an indoor water park and loads of fun. I don't think grandma is going to take her suit today. I'd rather take pictures. Everyone have a good day. Kat...hope things turn out ok for you, Rick and Manda! See ya later!!

Where is everybody??? Ethan is resting on the couch. He's all bowled and baseballed out. DD Kris was here after her doctor's appointment. She has 3 weeks left and the doctor wasn't sure about her going tomorrow with us to see the rest of the family, but with a husband who is a P.A., her being an LPN and my DIL almost an RN, I think we can handle anything that might come up. Lots of birds at the feeder today. Lately that has been a sign of bad weather coming up, but I don't see anything on the radar. Maybe they know something we don't. Laura.. have a fun time this weekend!! Suzie.. hope you're unstuck by now. TracyK.. you gotta be one busy lady with all the packing. Heather.. so glad you got the fill issues taken care of. I know about the distance to travel, but it's worth it to be able to swallow again! PamELa.. it's interesting how different fills are with different doctors. Yours sounds so unusual to me! And Janie and Haydee.. I've never had to have a needle hanging out of me during a fill. That sounds bizarre!! Michelle.. I got the restaurant one. Kris took it home with her to show Nathan. She was very interested in everything. I should order the supermarket one too. TracyinKS.. I LOVE cream cheese and pepper jelly. We usuall have it at Superbowl get togethers. I'm really going to have to avoid it this time around. I have too many good days invested and don't want to ruin my record no matter how great it would taste. Piehole report so far: Breakfast: tuna, pineapple and soy nuts Lunch: tuna, pineapple and soy nuts, green beans, few spoonfuls of french onion soup 1 liter water Not sure what we'll have for supper tonight. It's fish night at the restaurants, but I don't want to spend the money. I think I have some tilapia here. Hope everyone is having a good day.. Will check back later.
