Good morning, Violets.. Got the last of the chores done before we head out of town. Ethan is here and Kris and Nathan are on their way here to babysit him when we leave. it's a BEAUTIFUL day here today. A perfect one for trikking and I have to be in a car on a 2.5 hour drive. sighhhhhhhhhh Oh well, we'll meet up with 8 other members of the church and have a great time at a French restaurant tonight. The pastor won't be there. He doesn't socialize with his congregation... He'll wait and come over tomorrow morning super early. As for titties. I never had them. I was flat and then I was BAZOOMS.. now they are deflated and pointing south. So darn attractive I can't stand it! But as I've heard.. men don't care! Shaved or unshaved legs... men don't care. Big belly, little belly... men don't care. When they're on a mission.. they really don't care! God bless Susan Boyle. Well, I'm rambling and need to get off here and get the suitcases in the car. I'm taking the laptop of course so will check in tonight. Everyond have a great day. Texan Violets enjoy your time together and yup.. we all want pix!!

We love you all no matter what. Like Dr. PamELa says... tits up.. and that doesn't mean they have to be perky.:tt2:

Good to see you back, Heather. Why did your sister have to have the emergency c-section?? Is she ok?? The baby sure sounds small, but also sounds like everything will be fine. What did she name the baby?? I'm just waiting for my Schwan's lasagna to finish cooking and then after supper we'll go biking. Ethan left at 4:30 and we headed to Penney's to get the Bobster some slacks and a couple of new shirts. We're headed out of town to a church meeting tomorrow and Saturday. There are 10 of us from our church that are going so we're all at the same hotel and will be going out to dinner at a French restaurant. Should be interesting. We had chinese last night.. Bob and I split a meal and I ended up pbing. Haven't done that in awhile. After I did, I was able to eat, but I drenched it in sauce so it was very moist. The people at the hot tub shop told Bob what to do with the tub, but it didn't work so they will have to come out and check it out. They are coming next week to open the pool.. wooo hooooo!! Will check back later tonight while I'm watching CSI.

AND his Auntie Gramma!! Do we need to have a "take a number" set up?? Or does seniority count?? -
Laura... also try running a hair dryer or a vacuum cleaner near Carson. Works like a charm with Grady. (most of the time)

Good morning, Violets.. Ethan is here and is watching Dora so I have a few minutes to catch up on here. It's 37 right now, but supposed to get up to 55 this afternoon, so after Jen comes to get Ethan at 4, I hope to head out on the terratrike. We leave for a church meeting tomorrow so won't have Ethan and it's supposed to be 72, so I'll get out in the morning before we go. I have a headrest, mirror and flag on the bike now so I'm good to go. Just have to depend on the weather. Ethan is sitting on the potty watching tv. It's a hit and miss deal with him. Sometimes he goes, sometimes not. But he never tells me he has to go. This is going to be a long process. The Bobster is at the hot tub place. I went out to get in the tub last night and when I opened it up, it had a code on the temperature display and the water was very chilly. Soooooooooo off to see what the matter is today. Hopefully we can get the pool opened in a week or two. Just have to pump the water out of the cover. I want to be swimming in my pool in May. That will be the earliest ever since we've had the pool. But that's only because of the gas heater we have now. Tracy... hope Macy feels better after the meds. And hope you don't get it!!! Congrats on starting at the Y! Exercise is the key for many of us for sure. PamELa.. hope you're feeling better too. Laura...can you believe it's been a week already????? Give Carson an extra kiss and hug from Auntie Gramma Violet Judy. Whew.. that's a long moniker. Off to check out Facebook and see how all my friends are doing there today too. Michelle.. hope all goes well with your mom's surgery. Check in when you can! Everyone make it a good one today. Be good to yourself.

Nathan got Kris a Chevy Traverse. It had the highest safety rating. It's a beautiful 7 passenger vehicle. I sure never got anything like THAT on my birthday!!!

Back again. Ethan is watching cartoons and has made it on the potty twice today. We're making some progress, but it's going to be a long haul, I'm afraid. He sure doesn't feel the need to use the potty unless I put him on it. Jane..how rude of Charlie to put you in that position!! When will the power be back on??? Michelle... loved the post about the horoscope.. how spooky!! Kudos to you for eating well in spite of the stress. That's a MAJOR accomplishment! The Bobster is gone for the day to a meeting so it's just me and Ethan here. I'm getting the laundry done and catching up on Facebook. Doc. PamELa.. hope you're feeling better by the hour. Glad you finally went to the other Doc and got things taken care of. I remember those days of having to hurriedly get plans ready. I was 62 miles from work so I would just call one of the other kindergarten teachers and have her pull my basic plans off the computer and then update to whatever letter we were doing for the week. I so don't miss that type of stuff. Back to laundry.. will check back later.

Good morning, Violets.. Kind of a lazy day here today. Ethan doesn't come until noon and I don't have anything until choir tonight. The weather is still rainy and dreary. It can quit that at any time. I can't get out on my terratrike and that bothers me. Can't get in the hot tub either. It's supposed to warm up by the weekend, but we'll be out of town at a church meeting Friday and Saturday. LAURA!!! what you are going through with Carson is exactly (except for the jaundice) what Kris went through and is still going through. Grady is a crier too. He loves to be held and only sleeps a couple of hours during the day and then is up and wants attention. He does well at night and she has stopped pumping because she couldn't keep up with the demand. Grady is now on mostly formula with a little bit of breast milk she had pumped. By next week, he'll be all formula. She was stressed and frustrated and thinking this was not what she expected, but motherhood isn't always a perfect road. Just ask any of us moms in here. BUT.. the good news is, it WILL get better. I told Kris the same thing and she is handling things much better now than at the beginning. Remember, your hormones are still out of whack and contribute a lot to the way you are feeling. When Kris put Grady on the bottle with pumped breast milk, she was able to get some sleep and that really helped her. Now Nathan can feed Grady and bond with him too. And Gramma can feed him and bond and that's a neat thing too. I love when he looks up at me and checks me out while he's feeding. As I posted on Facebook, in my day, if a baby was jaundiced, they had to go to the hospital and sit under the bili light. No such thing as a bili-bed. At least he's able to be home with you. Hang in there, it will get better. We've all been through this before. HUGS!!! Off to help bob with an email project. BBL... Everyone have a great day!!

I'm back from Community Chorus. We had Ethan from 12-6 today. We don't have him tomorrow. I have my volunteer shift and then nothing until rehearsal in the evening. It rained HARD all day today and is still raining. We are supposed to get rain and snow showers tomorrow and Wednesday. Oh joy. I so love Northern Michigan. I'm going to watch a little tv, do a little Facebook and head to bed. Everyone have a great night. Be good to yourself and sleep well. Michelle ... we LOVE ya, no matter what!!!
-
I totally understand, Michelle. I'm the same way. But you're a good person and you went and stood up for yourself and took your medicine. There's nothing you can do that will change anything. Just remember.... this too shall pass.

Jane!!!! Are you taking a water pill?? 16# in a month is not something you can do just by overeating!! Especially with a band in place. There has got to be something else causing the weight gain. Talk to your doctor asap!!

Back again. Ethan has arrived and is already on the Wii. We got him a new little trike and Bob's going to put that together and let him try it out around the house since it's such a crappy day weatherwise and he can't get outside. Michelle!! Wow.. good for you on not backing down!! Must have been some kind of email if it pissed off the administration that much! But like you said, only 2 more meetings and then it's history. As for our anniversary... lol It's in June. But you have to remember that July is during summer break for teachers. hehehehe Vacations are a wonderful thing, aren't they?? (Count ahead 9 months from July) Haydee.. the Bobster would love to be somewhere warm during March and April. That's why we cruise in the winter, usually in January when it's the coldest here. March and April are really blah months here. The snow is starting to melt and everything looks dirty. We're planning on renting a place in Florida next February and seeing how we like it. It will only be for a week, but it is a house that allows pets so we can take the Yorkies with us. We'll see how that works out. I don't mind the winters here..... yet. Cruises are enough for me along with visiting our friends in Florida every year for a week. Off to warm up some ham and cheese soup for lunch. We were junk food addicts this weekend and I need to begin my rehab!

Good Morning, Violets.. I slept in until 9:30 this morning. Ethan doesn't come until noon so I took the opportunity to be lazy. I drove most of the way home yesterday so I was really tired. It's a very, very dreary day here today. NO sun and pouring down rain. We had planned to work in the backyard this morning, but certainly can't now. The only bright spot is that we don't have any snow in the backyard now. The town we left yesterday got 2 inches of snow last night and it's still snowing there. I hope we don't end up getting any. I want to open my pool up this week sometime. Michelle.. Purple Power sent to you from me. Hope all goes well for you. Laura.. you'll be home today with you new little boy. This first week is going to be a struggle, but just remember... this too shall pass and you have lots of wonderful days ahead with Carson. I can't wait to snuggle up with him in June. PamELa... I remember all those countdowns. The best one was the countdown to retirement. Now I'm counting down to social security in August.. woooo hooooo. Suzie... is your pool open yet?? I hope we can get some of that warm weather soon. Kat.. I'm glad you're enjoying your job even though it cuts into Violet time. It sounds like an ideal situation and that they really appreciate you. If I didn't have Ethan and Grady, I know I'd be looking for a part time job somewhere. But they are my job right now and I'm enjoying that a lot. Off to find some "brunch" and then get dressed for the day. Everyone make it a good one. Let us know how things went today, Michelle. I'm anxious to hear.

Good evening, Violets.. We're home and exhausted. Will check in tomorrow. Everyone sleep well..
-
Good morning, violets.. We're up and getting ready to head to breakfast and then church and then the 7 hour ride home. Will be a longggggg day. I had high hopes for this weekend, but had a horrendous bout of constipation... I know, I know.. TMI, but Violets understand these things. Finally resolved the situation this morning after 7 pills and lots of water. I wasn't able to swim or sightsee or nuthin. Spent the day in the room close to the bathroom trying and trying and trying. Now I know I'm going to have to go all day today and will be stuck in a car. Hope the rest areas are open and close together!! Yesterday was our son's 31st birthday and today is Kris's 27th birthday. I missed being there, but I called and sang Happy Birthday to Joe yesterday and will to Kris today. Off to get ready. Everyone have a great day. Won't be on until this evening.
