Woo hooo.. isn't it fun??!! Grady is trying to crawl now. He's got it almost down, just has to figure out what to do with the arms. He kinda scoots backwards now. He officially has two teeth and is still not sleeping through the night. I told Kris to call the doc and see if this is normal. I don't remember any of my kids having as much difficulty sleeping as he is having.

Not Michigan! I read it a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the update, Roomie.. Continued prayers for your MIL and family. Hopefully the worst is over now and she can concentrate on getting out of the hospital and back home. That's awful about the epidural!!!!! It's certainly a difficult job when the child becomes the parent/caregiver. Been there, done that. It's rewarding in some ways, but very difficult in others. Just got back from singing rehearsal. It was a good one. I think it's going to be a great concert the end of the month. Ethan doesn't come tomorrow.. no work for his dad. So I'm going to spend time in the pool by myself and get some more tan. I've never, ever had a tan like this before and I'm enjoying it. Everyone have a good evening. Sleep well. Good morning, Violets. Off to my hospital shift, PMS luncheon, hair cut and then a rehearsal tonight. Busy day, but I'm thankful I didn't have to get up at 4:30, drive 62 miles one way to work, teach all day, come home and have all the normal things to do after that. Have I mentioned I LOVE retirement??? Everyone have a great day. Be good to yourselves. Suzie.. I was in the pool twice yesterday.. what a great feeling. I'll get in after my hair appt. today.

Good morning, Violets.. A nice, relaxing day today. We have Grady for an hour while Kris and Nathan work out. Then it's pool time and after that getting choir robes ready and then trusting Bob to grill a steak without turning it into charcoal. It's a beautiful day today and supposed to get up to 78 degrees. Perfect. Everyone enjoy their day off!! Be good to yourselves.

Good morning, Violets.. OMG Heather!!! You have been through such an ordeal. I'm shocked at your news, but so glad you got things repaired and you're back on the road to recovery. Boy, with all the trouble you and Laura have had, that just cinches it for me. I'm NOT going to get pregnant again!! You take care of yourself, woman!!! How is Ayla during all this?? Good evening, Violets.. Just back from the art fair. I bought a painted window for the fence outside and a copper trillium on a stake for the garden. I'm going back with Kris tomorrow after church. We got there at 3:30 and they closed up at 5 so didn't have time to see everything. Terry... congrats on the -4#!!! I ate well today and only had a few bites of ice cream this evening, which is a big improvement for me! One day at a time in all things. Everyone sleep well tonight.

I can't remember what the timeline is, but I remember, hopefully correctly, that she and family were going to the hospital yesterday and that MIL would be in the hospital for 2-3 days. I didn't get an email from her yesterday so I'm assuming they are at the hospital.

Good morning, Violets.. No garage sale-ing this morning. I'm guessing Kris and Grady didn't have such a good night as she didn't call me to go this morning. But we'll still have the Arts and Crafts show to go to later today. Laura.. Kris gives Grady Tylenol and uses the orajel. That's about all you can do, I guess. It took several weeks for the tooth to actually pop through so be prepared! Suzie.. have a good time at the wedding today. It's beautiful weather here today. I'd love to be swimming, but won't have time till tomorrow. I hope Monday's weather is good cause I want to spend allllllll day in the pool! Terry.... easy there on the cottage cheese! How much of a fill did you get???? Luckily I've never had a fill that makes it impossible to eat regular food. Course I haven't had a fill in about a year now either. yikes!! But I know I don't need any more fill, I just need my head to work rather than depending on the band. I'm not doing so good with that lately. Jenn, Jane and everyone else, have a great day. Remember to keep Michelle and her MIL in your prayers for her surgery.

Good evening, Violets.. We're watching the Tigers and hoping they win again. It's tied in the 8th. Grady was pretty good tonight.. just one crying jag. Kris is having the same problem with Grady that you are with Carson, Laura. She didn't get any sleep last night at all. Grady was up till midnight.. slept til 1:30 and then was fussy until 5:30 in the morning. Nathan came home early today so she could get a nap. She slept from noon til 4:30. He now has 1 tooth broken through with the second one almost there. That has to be most of the problem, I'm hoping!! We're going garage sale-ing in the morning and then to the Art Fair in the afternoon and dinner out after that. Should be a fun day. Everyone sleep well.

Suzy... glad to hear the surgery was a success and you're on the road to recovery.....very quickly!!! Fingers crossed for a job for you too! Laura.. so sad about your co-worker. How old is she? It's a big burden to have put on you, but seems worse to me if she's young like you. Jenn.. congrats on the great weight loss. Wish I could get that motivation again. I'm just hovering around the same numbers all the time. gain a little lose a little, same o, same o. Ethan and I just got in from the pool. I got my exercises in and for added fun, Ethan thinks it's neat to grab hold of me as I'm running around the pool doing my laps. Certainly adds some more resistance to the routine! Off to check emails and chillax for a little bit before Grady comes for a couple of hours tonight.

Good morning, Violets.. A bit warmer this morning.. 55 degrees. But looking like it's going to be another beautiful day. Ethan will be here in a few minutes and we'll get some more pool time this afternoon. I bought him a couple more toys for the pool so he doesn't just float around all the time. He's become a real Water baby. Laura.. we liked the film a lot. Sean Penn was amazing. Next up is Frost/Nixon. I'm not thrilled, but the Bobster has been looking forward to seeing it. After that we have comedies for awhile. I understand your concern with the band. You've had more than the usual problems with yours. I support you whether you're banded or sleeved. Terry.. you need to have a choir party. That way the house and yard are clean, at least for a little while! That's my system. Jane..yup.. we liked the movie. Brings back memories of that time. I had forgotten all about the "Twinkie defense". The guy that shot Harvey Milk used the defense of going crazy because he had binged on junk food the night before and he had always been health conscious. Boy, couldn't we ALL use that defense?? Ethan just arrived so got to get in gear here. Everyone make it a great day. Be good to yourselves.

Laura, I hope you can arrange for this surgery. You certainly are doing your homework and it sounds like it is a good answer for you considering your troubles with the band. Just finished watching Milk and now off to bed. Ethan comes again in the morning and if tomorrow is like today, I see more "fimming" time!! sleep well, everyone.
