Good evening, Violets... Just back from choir rehearsal. I hate to admit it, but choir just doesn't give me the same feeling it used to. We used to have 18-22 in choir each week and now at rehearsals we are getting 8-10. The spirit of the church has just died. Tomorrow morning is flute rehearsal and then ZUMBA in the evening!!!! I can't wait! Sure hope it lives up to my expectations. Off to watch Modern Family. Glee isn't on because of the World Series. Then to read some on the Kindle and then lights out. Ethan comes at 8 again tomorrow morning. We have him every day this week. Gramma is going to be worn out by Saturday. Everyone have a good evening. Sleep well!!

Boring??? Are you kidding me?? I LOVE hearing about all the plans. I for one am totally excited about the wedding and all the festivities!! (and I'll bet the other Violets would concur 100% with me.)

Good morning, Violets.. The Bobster let me sleep in til 8:30 this morning. He got up to greet Ethan at 8. Now Bob is off to have coffee with a friend and I'm here watching Dora, the Explorer halloween show. I need to get to the church this afternoon to enlarge some music for a couple of choir members with vision issues. Other than that, not much going on today. Laundry and the usual. Michelle.. thanks for the cute Halloween card!! Haydee.. I too like the one with pix on it. Janie.. how did the sleep study go? PamELa.. good thing you're not retired or you would be doubly busy! Take it from one who knows whereof she speaks.. Laura.. how's the restriction? Any word on reimbursement yet? Suzy and Heather.. hope you're both doing well with the move and the job. Good evening, Violets.. All done with babysitting today and singing rehearsal. Grady was a cutie and Ethan was good until he peed his pants....... really soaked them. Dang, we were doing so well. He had a nice, long walk with Grampa today. Grampa forgot to put him on the potty when he got home so.........you know the rest of the story. Tomorrow we get him at 8 til 5. I have choir in the evening and dinner out with friends. Then Thursday is ZUMBA day!! Off to watch The Good Wife and then read for a bit on the Kindle before I nod off. Everyone have a good evening. Good morning, Violets.. Finally it looks like the rain has stopped. We have a ton of leaves in the front and backyard, but no sense raking them up when they are too wet to burn. I am up and waiting for Ethan to arrive. He'll only be here for a couple of hours as Joe only has one job to check on today. Kris will drop off Grady at 11 so she can go to her hair appointment. Then I should have the rest of the day to myself before rehearsal tonight. It's $1 Butter burger day so no need to worry about fixing supper. I made my hamburger Soup yesterday but with sausage instead and it will be a yummy lunch. This time of year soup is a really good idea! Suzy..sounds like your brother is a great guy. I miss mine a lot. He was my only sibling and I lost him 15 years ago. But he was the kind who would do anything for anyone. Sounds like your brother is like him. Laura... so good to hear you aren't struggling with swallowing anymore. How far did you have to travel to get the unfill?? Janie... good luck with the sleep study! Day 2 of eating wisely again. Good evening, Violets.. I had Ethan and Grady here for awhile today. I know why motherhood is for the young!! Ethan doesn't like Grady when he cries and Grady wants all my attention all the time. Tomorrow I have them both for awhile when Kris gets her hair cut. Hope I survive! Suzy...hope you survive this early morning job!! But I agree with Haydee, the time will go by quicker when you have others to chat with. Glad your relatives will be coming to spend Christmas with you. Our son, DIL and grandkids said they will come up for Christmas this year. We usually go down there, but 6 hours driving one way for us in the winter is a little too much at our age. It's those little things that tell me we're getting OLD..... er. Laura.. hope you're doing better today or at least have an unfill. Did you ask them to fill it after surgery? I know you wanted to start losing right away, but yikes.. you need time to heal before filling it up. Heather.. I didn't even notice the new picture of Ayla until Haydee mentioned it. She's a cutie for sure! Off to rehearsal in a little bit, then some tv, some reading and to bed so I can get up early for Ethan tomorrow morning.. Everyone have a good evening! sleep well. Laura.. you're definitely too tight. That pukey taste is absolutely the worst thing for me. I hope you can get it taken care of today. It's raining here once again. Temp is 47 so it's not going to be that bad today, but definitely a sweater day. I have my hospital shift this morning and then a church type meeting and then rehearsal this evening. I'm going to make my hamburger soup again today. It just feels like that kind of day. Off to dry my hair and get dressed and think about breakfast. Michelle.. we have Thanksgiving at Kris's now so all I have to do is provide some of the food. So much more enjoyable for me! Hope everyone has a great day! Be good to yourselves.

Good evening, Violets.. It feels sooooooooooooo good to be home again! We left this morning at 11:30 and got home at 9:30. We stopped at Sam's Club and had dinner at Outback Steakhouse. Bob and I split a meal. Tomorrow starts a new week and a new resolve. This weekend was a total bust. I won't even tell you the awful stuff I ate!!! Thursday is Zumba day and I can't wait!! Laura.. glad to hear your surgery was successful. Be careful with the restriction though. Don't let it be too tight too long. Janie.. Glad you had a good time with Suzy. Do you think someone was trying to tell you something with all the food dropsies?? :thumbup: Off to bed.. just finished watching Desperate Housewives and The Girls Next Door. Tomorrow is hospital shift day and a meeting in the morning and Community Chorus in the evening. Don't know if we have Ethan or not tomorrow.. haven't heard a word from Joe. And yes, PamELa.. I can read in the car. I got though a couple chapters of the new book, plus read People, Star and Woman's World. Everyone have a good evening... sleep well!

Good morning, Violets.. Enjoy your day, Janie!! We are up and getting ready for church. Then we'll start the long trek home and hope to arrive by 9 tonight. It's a long drive, but I just sit and ride and read and sleep. Kris and Bob do all the driving. The K-Wings (home team) won the hockey game last night. I just went along for the ride. I really don't see any sense in hockey. But at least I got to spend time with the grandkids. Everyone have a relaxing Sunday. See you tonight.

Actually Janie.. I'm 6 hours from home. But I'm safe!! We are at our grandkid's. We're going out shopping and then head to a hockey game tonight. I'm taking the Kindle so I can read.. lol It's a dreary, chilly, wet day here today. Typical Fall day. Everyone make it a good one!!

Good evening, Violets... Arrived here 6 hours after we left home. What a drive!! Grady was a real trooper. He only got fussy for a little bit. It's great to see the other grandkids. We went to Red Lobster and I had 3 coconut shrimp and some crab legs. Very yummy. We're headed to bed and then shopping tomorrow and a hockey game. I finished reading The Help. What a great book!! Now I'm reading Long Narrow Boat to Indian River. Everyone have a good evening... sleep well.

Jane... you have yours set for 30# by Christmas which is great!. I'm going to do 10# and I want to lose that by Thanksgiving, so that's why I changed to the turkeys. Have not heard of Seattle Sutton. I'll have to look it up online. I want to book my room asap, but I need to make sure we're all agreed on the Comfort Suites..
