Good morning, Violets.. Congrats, PamELa!!! You are gonna be a skinny minny by next spring!! Joe got called in to work yesterday and then my friend Betsy called me to say her water heater burst and water was all over her basement.... sooooo Joe got called to do that clean up. Thank goodness. He also went to a local factory here and they said they will be hiring in a couple of weeks. My fingers are really crossed for this one. One of our good church friends is the president of the company, so hopefully he can get in there. I'm still pretty restricted. I had a cup of chicken noodle soup for supper last night. Haven't had any breakfast today.. I know.. my bad. But will have some tuna/soy nuts/raisins for lunch. We will go out for pizza tonight to our favorite place. They have exotic pizzas with extra thin crusts. We tried to go last Thursday, but it was opening day and it was packed. We'll go earlier today. The bobster and I booked a cruise for Jan. 30 to the Caribbean. Can't wait!!!! Just watched the video, Michelle. I saw ds in a few pics.. kewl! Off to fix my tuna.. Everyone make it a good one!

Good morning, Violets.. Kind of a busy day today. Joe just left to go job hunting again and I have Ethan until noon when I go to the planetarium to rehearse for our Wind Song concert Nov. 6. We are playing songs that have to do with stars and planets and there will be a planetarium show to go with it. Should be interesting!! Then I have choir tonight and dinner out afterwards. That should be interesting. Last Wednesday I had a pork chop, salad and sweet potato fries and a hunk of bread. Ain't none of that going to go down tonight!! I hope they have a soup I like, otherwise I'll be taking little bites from Bob's dinner. Off to take a shower and get ready for the day. Everyone make it a good one!!!

Good evening, Violets... Well, the band is definitely working. I made pineapple glazed spare ribs in the pressure cooker, scalloped potatoes from scratch and butternut squash fresh from Kris's garden. Two days ago I could have eaten a couple of pieces of pork, the potatoes and the squash. Today I had a couple of bites of each and then pb'd it all. Apparently the band is back to normal and I guess I will have to be too. Back to the Bandster rules!! We are going to watch a couple of episodes of Bones on netflix tv and then chillax in the hot tub for awhile. Everyone have a good evening... sleep well.

Wow... I have a band for sure. Just finished choking down one scrambled egg with a little cheese. Took a while and it was slow going. Haven't had that feeling in 3 months!!! It's like an old friend is back..

Good morning, Violets.. We made it home at 8 last night, so it was a 12 hour adventure for a minute appointment. We didn't stay for the new support group meeting, just gathered all the materials for my support group and got on our way. I got 1.5 put back in the band for a total of 2.9 I will probably need a little more to get to my sweet spot, but I'll give it a month before I decide. Hopefully the next trip will be the last for a while. Don't like making that drive in the winter. I have 50# to lose to get to goal and I aim to do that by next April. I rejoined WW, can now get out and do some walking and biking and have the band, so there is no excuse NOT to lose. I'm up for the challenge. It's like being back to day one right after the surgery. Ethan comes over at 9:30 today. Still no work for Joe, but Jen is working 40 hours. She's still staying with her mom and Joe is staying here until they get enough money saved to rent a place together. Or maybe not, if it doesn't work out. We shall see. At least they both have a warm place to sleep at night and Ethan is happy to be with Busha and Gramma. Off to get some breakfast and see how the band is working. Liquids were slow going yesterday, but I am allowed real food today. Janie... don't have Cricket.. Michelle.... having been through driver's training 4 times.... I feel your pain...the pain of white knuckle riding and the pain of the car insurance bill.. yikes!!! Everyone make it a good one today!!!

Good morning, Violets.. The concert went very well and I had a good night's sleep afterwards. I'm up and ready to head out for the 4 hour drive to our doctor for my fill. Can't wait for some restriction!! Everyone make it a good one today...

Good afternoon, Violets.... Lazy day today. Went to church and then came home and took a long nap while the Bobster watched the Lions football game. I have a singing concert tonight at 7:30 and need to be there at 6 to warm up. Everyone have a good evening. My knee is doing great, Janie.. Thanks for asking. It's definitely pain free and I'm able to bend it quite a bit.

Good afternoon, Violets.. It is 60 degrees and the gardens are done!! This is the part of gardening I don't enjoy, Jane. I love seeing all the fruits of my labor, but having to cut back everything is a big job. Now everything is ready for winter. Joe is burning leaves for me. Sure smells like Fall! I have all my knick knacks put in piles out on the lawn and Joe will put them in tubs for me to store for the winter. Ethan is playing video games and the guys are watching football so it's naptime for me! Pressure chili for supper tonight. yums.. Everyone make it a good one!

Good morning, Violets.. I'm headed out to clean out the rest of the flower beds and burn some leaves... LOTS of leaves. It's 29 degrees here, but supposed warm up to 60. Fall has definitely arrived and I dread what comes next!! Hope everyone has a relaxing weekend.

Good evening, Violets.. What a beautiful day today. We took Ethan and Joe to the apple orchard. We got 2 cookies to share and had a great time. I put pics on Facebook. I rejoined Weight Watchers today. That along with getting my fill back on Monday might just be the motivation I need to get this job done. I have 50# to lose to get to my goal and hope to get there by next April, my 4 year bandiversary. There is a new support group at the hospital where I go that meets in the afternoon instead of the evening. The first one is Monday! My appointment is at 1:25 and the support group is at 2-3 so it should work out perfectly timewise. Off to get some exotic pizza at the Cork and Crust and then settle in for the night with my tabloids. Everyone have a good evening!!

Good morning, Violets.. Today is a beautiful Fall day. 48 degrees right now with a high expected of 62. The sun is shining and the leaves are falling. I'm headed out to the backyard in a little bit to spend some time trimming, cutting back and transplanting. Ethan, Joe and the Bobster are going golfing this afternoon. That will be my nap time! Nothing on the agenda today other than that. Hope everyone is having a great day! PamELa.. I sent Freedom to my Kindle last night. Will start it after I finish Such a Pretty Face.
