Michelle... the Stephen King book is awesome. If it wasn't I wouldn't suffer through 1,074 pages! I love Stephen King, so I'm definitely enjoying it. As I'm reading, I'm seeing it as yet another movie. Lots of action for sure. I will be glad to get back to my Kindle though. So much easier to carry around! PamELa.. I have the main dress taken care of, but have to work on the casual stuff. I just got two skirts on ebay. Hope they fit!! They shall be half of my casual outfits if they do. Just have to figure out tops. Kris and I are going downstate May 4 to see Lord of the Dance so we can do some shopping then.

Good morning, Violets.. Birthdays are done for a little while, thank goodness. I ate well at the first one, but ate crap all day yesterday and topped it off with birthday cake and a birthday cupcake. ack! Janie.. you BET you can be proud even though you've been there before. The past doesn't matter now. It's what you do today that counts and you're doing it!! I'm PROUD of you!!! I know we ALL wish we could lose 50-70# before the wedding, but you know what??? None of us will be thinking about that when we see each other again. It will be all about the friendship, not the numbers. Can't wait!!!!!! Off to have a bandster breakfast and get started on laundry. NO meetings or rehearsals or babysitting today. Whatever shall I do?? #1 on the list is to finish the last 40 pages of the Stephen King book so I can get started back on my Kindle. Everyone have a great day!! Be good to yourselves.

Laura..I just checked with Kris and Grady is 32" and 25# at 13 months. She was told he was above average in height and below average in weight. Go figger.. They both are cutie patooties! And he's also wearing 18m clothes now. PamELa.. I ordered the summer collection. Now the question is.. where do I put them.. :thumbup: Never fear.. I'll find somewhere for more flowers. More flowers, less mulch is my motto from now on!

Sheeeeesh, Blue.. if you read our posts everyday, you need to be posting here too!!! We are from all parts of the U.S. and the band brought us all together. I know lots about these ladies and I'd be willing to share all their secrets.............errrrr, I mean..... la la la la la. I'm the golden oldie of the group. Kinda like their designated Gramma. Janie... gold lame?? It doesn't get much better. People of Walmart wear that a lot. Got to get me some for the wedding. Michelle... your happy pills certainly have not had a chance to kick in fully yet. Give it a little more time. Usually it takes 6 weeks to feel the effects. It hasn't been that long, has it?? I'd write more, but I'm still reeling from the news about Michael.

Ummmmmmmm try summer vacation, PamELa!! No time for "fun" during school months, so summer is the exciting time.. Joe and Kris are exactly 4 years and 1 day apart. Josh is the odd child out.. he was born in December. (think spring break that year). Both Josh and Kris were 9#ers, but strangely enough, Joe was the easiest delivery. Off to get more things ready for the party.

Good morning, Violets.. No hyper-cat to wake me up this morning.. just the usual Sunday morning routine. 32 years ago today I gave birth to a 10# 6 and 1/2 oz. bouncing baby boy. Hard to believe he's 6'5" and 250# now with a boy of his own. We'll have a cook out today. He's doing a corporate challenge for wellness so no cake today. I made fruit salad and we're having grilled chicken breast and tossed salad. Tomorrow is Kris's birthday and she definitely wants a cake. ;o) I so don't want to go to church today.... I'm lay reader and directing the choir so of course I'm obligated to go, but there is so much stress there, I just hate it. 2 more months to go for me and then I can "retire" from there again. Hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday!

Good morning, Violets.. Snaining here this morning. (snow/rain) Temp is 36... ahhhhhhhhhhh Northern Michigan! Laura..Bob says he gives it a C which is higher than he'd give most movies we've seen lately. It had it's moments.. but certainly wasn't any great shakes. JMHO. Off to tackle all the events of the day. Everyone make it a great one!!!

Good evening, Violets.. Back from the concert. It went very well. Wind Song played well and people seemed to enjoy it. Tomorrow is a busy day... we have lap band support group at 11, eating at the newly repoened (rebuilt after a fire destroyed it a year ago) Chinese/Thai restaurant at 12, garden show after that and then we need to start getting the food and cards for the birthday kids. DS Joe's birthday is Sunday and Kris's is Monday. I got Kris a couple of pandora charms for her bracelet and Joe gets lottery tickets and certificates for golfing. Off to watch Men Who Stare At Goats.. Everyone have a great evening. Sleep well.

28 days till Haydee and Juan's wedding!!

Good morning, Violets... What a beautiful day it was yesterday. It hit 84 degrees here and we even had the a/c running in the bedroom all night. We're back to normal here today. 54 degrees right now and only supposed to get to 55 for the day. We schleped 9 bags of mulch yesterday and our goal is to finish mulching the backyard today. I have 3 more flower beds sections to do and the Bobster will be here all day to help. Then I have a concert tonight. Our flute quartet is playing in a concert to raise funds for child abuse awareness. So that's my day in a nutshell. Everyone make it a good one. Janie......... step away from the ice cream!! lol
