I've shared a bedroom with a c-pap'er for about 10 years now. Doesn't bother me at all. Matter of fact, I find it easier to get to sleep with the lull of the machine in my ear! I think Laura is going to be our problem child.. picky eater, picky sleeper..

I was doing very well on my almond chicken left over from yesterday's lunch and then I guess I got to my saturation point and up it came. Luckily I made it to the bathroom in time. Sure seems like this is happening a lot more frequently to me. Used to be sliming stayed down, but now it doesn't. Wonder if doc will give me a fill on Monday?? I know Bob needs one, but not so sure abourt me. Amanda.. hope everything goes well for you in court today. Positive Purple Power Prayers headed your way too. It was always my theory that my worst students had a twin that they met on the bus to and from school. Good morning, Violets. Got my 1.8 miles in this morning with Bob and the doggies. It was 60 degrees when we started and I wore a turtleneck with a sweatshirt. I was really hot by the time we got back. Hopefully I sweated off a few ounces at least. Had yogurt for breakfast and now waiting for daughter Kris to get here so we can decide about lunch. Ethan comes at 1 for the afternoon. We bought him some new toys to play with here so that will be fun watching him open them up. That's all on my docket for today except for a Community chorus rehearsal this evening. Got to figure out something for dinner before Bob heads to his evening Bible study and I head to my rehearsal. hmmmmm decisions, decisions.

Bob and I just finished our walk with our two yorkies. Everyone is tired out. We did 1.8 miles in 30 minutes. Everyone will sleep well tonight. It's still 66 degrees and I'm all sweaty. Hot tub will be nice when the night air gets a bit chillier. Off to have supper, watch tv and then chat a bit on ISPQ. Will check in here before I head to bed.

WTH????????? It's not PURPLE????????????? (notice the question marks, Kat.. hehehe) Cute car!! And I'm sipping on my Crystal light slushy as I type this. Just got up from a nice nap. Can't believe I had the bedroom a/c on towards the end of October, but it's 75 degrees out right now! I have some acorn squash in the oven and Bob went out to give our son some gas money so he could deliver his papers so we'll do our walk when he gets back. It really is a beautiful, fall day. Our neighbor just cut down a huge tree that was leaning towards another neighbor's house. Big excitement in the neighborhood.. lol Kris, Nathan and I had lunch at a chinese restaurant and it was a buffet today. I just had a half bowl of soup and a little tiny bit of this and that. Nothing got stuck and I was comfortably full after a cup of food. This is the week for the pound or two to come off. I can feel it! I'm going to try and walk as many days this week as I can. That's in addition to Curves and the gym. Wish me luck!! course a week from tomorrow is fill day so I'm looking forward to that. And two weeks from today is cruise day. woooo hoooooo!! Western Caribbean here we come again!

Good Morning, Violets.. Well, today was weigh in day and I stayed the same. I'm getting a little fatutzed that it's not going down like it used to. But, my clothes are fitting looser and my size 14 pants I bought yesterday are baggy with my spanx on so I guess I can go "commando"! I'm wearing a sweater that I have had in my closet for about 7 years when I was at my lowest weight in my adult life. Today I'm wearing it and it's loose. So I'll take my nsv's and let the doctor talk to me about the numbers when we go for our fill on the 29th. My new sweatshirt I bought yesterday in Xl is loose on me too. Bob says I should have bought a L, but I just never thought that would be my size, I guess!! Oh well, when it's washed it will shrink a bit and I like to wear them baggy anyway. Sooooooooooo I'm in the process of getting ready for church this morning. It's so nice to have a choice of clothes to wear. Daughter Kris and SIL Nathan will be coming in for church today so we'll probably go out for lunch together afterwards. It looks like it is going to be a beautiful day so I'll get my walking in this afternoon. Kat.. hope you're feeling better today. Pamela.. wooo hooooo a new car!! We need pics!! Evening, Violets. What a wonderful day it was today. Bob and I decided to "get outta Dodge" and we went to Mackinaw City.. a quaint little town 90 miles north of here. It was their last weekend of having stores open. Most everything closes there when winter hits. It's a real touristy town. We got sweatshirts and did a lot of window shopping, but nothing I really couldn't do without. However on the way, we stopped at the new Peebles store to see what it was like. It was really nice and I got 3 pairs of slacks.. size 14!! and a nice sweater size Xl. Plus some new perfume. Sooo it was a real nice day for us. The trees still have some color and it was sunshiny in Mackinaw even though it rained on the way there. Kat.. glad you're back safe and sound and it wasn't too awful for you. Laura....I go to Curves and love it. Is there a Curves there you could try?? I think you might enjoy it. At least you could try it and see. I walked yesterday since it was so nice out. I did 1.8 miles in 30 minutes. It used to take me 45 minutes. But today I am sooooooo sore. I'm going to walk again tomorrow and see if I can relax these muscles. Oh Tracy, I'm sooooooooooooo happy for you!!!!! What an exciting day and the beginning of a new life for all of you. Thank God!! How is your son doing through all of this?? I know our granddaughter Mara doesn't even remember her biological dad and considers my son her Daddy. It's been a blessing for them as I know it will be for you. And 210!! Wooooooo hoooooooooo!! You're gonna be in onederland before you know it!! What a great way to start the weekend!!! (((HUGS)))!!!! We had a wild night last night. I was outside with Jetta, the garage dog and all of a sudden the tornado sirens started blaring. Got her inside and listened to the scanner. Two tornadoes touched down a ways away from here. We had major storms and it was pretty scary for awhile, but all is calm now, thank goodness and we didn't have any problems, but I did shut down the computer. AND.... I now am officially the head of a Lap Band support group in Alpena, Michigan. I decided I'd see if there was any interest for one and so far I have 6 people so we will have an organizational meeting Sat. the 27th. I definitely will be recommending Lapbandtalk to everyone!! We have 4 ladies and 2 guys so far so I think that will be a good group to begin with and I'm sure we will have more interested once the word gets out. Kat.. thinking about you today... Terry.. everytime I'm gone and come back, I have tons of posts to read. Nope.. don't think it's quiet in here.. ever!!!! lol Well, a lazy day here today. I have laundry to do and some general cleaning, but other than that it's tv and computer day and of course my weekly fix of tabloid magazines!! Everyone have a good one.. No amount of unpaid back child support can compare with the feeling of freedom his signature on that little piece of paper brings. CONGRATS!!!! Good morning, Violets.. A cold, rainy morning here. No Ethan today so my schedule is more flexible. As soon as I get my butt in gear,I'll get dressed for my hospital shift. I told Bob about the possible gathering next April and he said he's willing to drive me there. It's only a 10 hour drive from here and he loves that area. He's a Civil War buff and could make a jaunt to Gettysburg while we Violets had our first annual get together. Sure hope we can get this all coordinated!!

Ok Violets.. I will nominate myself for the designated driver since I don't drink. Not that I'm against it, I just don't care for the taste...never have. I don't drink coffee or tea either. I know.. I'm weird. Janie....You're not going through anything any of the rest of us hasn't or is now going through. Don't tell the other sistah's, but I caved in and had a new mint 3 Musketeer bar the other night. It was really yummy, but definitely a no no sooooooooo back to sugar free candies for me when I feel the urge for some chocolate. And the bonus is, they have Malitol in them and that makes me ummmmmm well, you know. I'm really into sugar free pudding with sugar free whipped cream too. And the Baskin Robbins sugar free chocolate mint candies are just the ticket for my sweet tooth. And a Violet funk is the best one to be in cause we're all here to help you out of it!! I'm off to bed now. Got to do my volunteer shift at the hospital tomorrow and then a hair appointment in the afternoon to become a screamin' blonde again. Just in time for our cruise!!
