Identity theft... I'm actually a thin, pink haired, botoxed, fundamentalist right winger fond of saying AMEN, SISTAH!!

50 Days Til The Violet Bandiversary Bash!!
-
Spa's not my thing either. I think our Saturday is pretty packed. I don't think Friday is a good boot scootin' night after all the travel and I'd really like to take some time to get to know the Violets in person and settle in without all the hoopla around at least for the first night. I'm looking forward to talking and laughing and perhaps a little Bible Study.... after all...............:tt2::tt2: But that's just me.. I'll go along with the crowd on most things. Just really don't expect me to be drinking anything except Crystal Light. Not being a party poop... I just don't like the taste of alcohol. Like I said before... I'll be the designated spiritual advisor. (who's sleeping with a lesbian and considering a tattoo..... )

I've always had hip bones... they've just been covered with lots of ummmmmmmmm insulation. And that insulation is still there. And Laura.. as for shaking them for the Bobster.. the backlash of the muffin top would be so not worth it!
-
Nope.. sorry, I won't do that either. It was just a thought, but if there isn't time, there's always next year!!

Good afternoon, Violets.. Laura...I just read your post to DD Kristin over the phone. She's a nursing student married to a P.A. and she said she was totally disgusted with the care you are receiving. She said you need to write down exactly what happened and send it to the hospital administrator. There is no excuse for the care you were given. Especially having to wait so long for EVERYTHING when you are in such pain. Terry... I'm so sorry to hear the grief your sister is giving you and your Mom.. Nobody deserves that kind of treatment. Ok.. all you sickies... you need to get it out of your systems before May. Nothing is going to spoil our time together. Finished my flute rehearsal and now on to choir and german class. We got the radio put in the Aztek, but the part to hook up the XM had to ordered and won't be in til next week. We bought a new mattress and that will be delivered next Wednesday. So next week we'll have a new car, radio and mattress. Woooo hoooooo.. the exciting life of a retiree..!! Our RV goes on the chopping block next week too. Sure hope we'll be able to sell it. It's a beautiful 2003 26 foot Jayco with a slide out. We just don't get any use out of it anymore with all the cruising.. (which I prefer). And with no truck anymore, the only way to haul it around will be to tie the Bobster to the front and put some chocolate on a stick in front of him. Time to go think about supper. We've been good all day. Just have to battle that head hunger this evening. Everyone take care.. will check back later.

Ditto here, cept I want it where I can see it without throwing my back out or having to use a mirror.
-
That's it.... I've gone to the dark side!!! Pretty soon pastors are gonna be preaching about me from their pulpits.. Oh wait. the Bobster does that already!!
-
Good Morning, Violets... Laura.. good to see you, but wish you had some definitive results! You're in my prayers. Hope you had a better sleep last night. We're off to get the radios switched out in our vehicles. The new car has XM as does the truck, so I get the XM from the truck in my car. 27 degrees here now, but at least no new snow during the night. I long to see some grass someday!! Will check back later. Everyone have a good morning.

Evening Violets... I talked to my DD about Laura's symptoms and she thought gall stones or kidney stones or something like that. Hope we hear something soon. Michelle.....what a great idea to go back and reread our history. I think I'll be doing that too. My eating today was pretty good.. B---90 calorie Special K bar Snack...string cheese L---2 onion rings, 1/3 piece of Walleye, 6 sweet potato fries (PB'd on the fish..) D- 1 onion ring, 4 bites Walleye (left overs) Snack..... 90 calorie Granola bar.. (PB'd part of it) 1/2 cup Breyer's ice cream Exercise.... 10 minutes Elliptical trainer, 20 mintues hot tub exercises. Tomorrow we take the vehicles in to get the radios transferred. Then we're going to look at mattresses... got to get a new one. I can't stand the peaks and valleys in the one we have. Kat... so sorry to hear about your DD, but it sure sounds like she's doing the bet thing for her and Kinsey. Time to head to bed.. everyone sleep well and I'll be on here first thing in the morning to see if there is any news from Laura.

51 Days Til The Violet Bandiversary Bash!!
-
Michelle... will you hold my hand when they do it??? Give me a silver bullet to bite on?? Oh wait.. you're too young to remember the Lone Ranger. Dang.. I'm OLD!

During our informational seminar, it was explained to us that hiatal hernias are very common and very easy to fix when they are already in there for band placement. I didn't know I had one and had it fixed. I have not had any issues with acid reflux since the surgery and no special post op directions related to the repair.
-
Well, I just asked the Bobster and DD what they thought and they said go for it. I just want a tiny one.. I'm not into pain!! They said on my ankle. I want to be able to see it, but also want the least painful place.. I think I will be the first minister's wife in all of Northern Michigan to get a tattoo.
-
Double done!
-
LAURA, LAURA, LAURA!!!We're all worried about you. Sure hope they can figure this out and give you some relief.....you're in my prayers!!!
-
I just put in my weight today, goal weight and I'll wait and let someone else figure out what the heck we're doing!!
-
I thought this is what we were doing...
-
Ok.. According to that table my ideal goal weight would be 145# and the Bobster's would be 215# so let's go with those numbers instead. I'm off to the hospital. it's STILL snowing.. yuck!!
-
Good Morning, Violets.. I slept in late today, but I always feel tired after having Ethan for the day!! lol LAURA!! How are you feeling today??? YES, I agree with Terry.. you should have called 911. That much pain is not normal! My DD had severe pain in her stomach several times and if it had not been for her DH being a P.A., she said she definitely would have called 911. She's had test after test after test and they can't find out what causes it. It only happens rarely, but when it does, it's excruciating pain she says. My official weight for this morning is the ticker weight. 170# with a goal weight of 150# The Bobster's weight is 246# with a goal weight of 220#. Let the contest begin!! I'm pumped!!! Haydee.. glad you're feeling better. Those spring colds are buggers. Speaking of SPRING... it's snowing here right now. arghhhhhhhhh We were under a winter weather advisory last night. Supposed to get 2-5 inches with blowing snow. We have an inch or so and it's still snowing and blowing so it will be an interesting day. I have my hospital shift today, then DD is coming for lunch, then two rehearsals this afternoon. No rest for the weary. Everyone have a good day on day one of the contest!!
