Laura.. ((hugs)) I understand too. We have hardwood floors in our home now because of pets. Jetta, the garage dog, destroyed every carpet we had. I love the hardwood floors, but sure wasn't planning on that when we bought this house. And now that we have them, it's a good thing because our Yorkies are piddle pad trained and to them carpet = piddle pad. The only carpeting we have is on the steps and in the "gym". They aren't allowed in the "gym" and the steps have to be cleaned every month, it seems. Even the stair landings are wood. But I do so understand you not wanting her to go to a shelter or someone else's home. You're doing the kindest thing for her.

Just a reminder to make it the 1 liter size. That has the nifty top on it so i don't have to keep removing a cap and losing it. We old people tend to do that a lot. :w00t::tt2: Actually any brand with the sippy top will be fine. I'm not THAT particular!! :thumbdown:

Good Morning, Violets!! In 3 days, the good morning will be to lots of you in PERSON!! wooooooo hooooooooooo!!! I might be old, but one of the perks is not having to worry about TOM anymore!! The cold is getting better. I slept fairly well last night and dont' have anything today except a few little things. I'm going to go fix breakfast and get busy with laundry and general cleaning. The Bobster will be gone to a church meeting Friday-Sunday so the house won't get dirty by itself. I think. Everyone have a great day!!

Im just in from the hot tub and I think I might have got the Zicam started in time to really cut down this cold. I feel much better tonight than last night. Still sneezing and a slightly sore throat, but nowhere near what it was like yesterday. Pam.. hope the Purple Power works for you. You have 2 days to get to feeling better!! DO IT, WOMAN!!! Off to bed to get lots of rest. Catch you all in the morning.

Good Evening, Violets.. I feel better this evening. The Zicam is doing it's thing. I got in my shift at the hospital, had lunch with the PMS group and got my hair cut and colored. I came home and tried to take a nap, but couldn't sleep so I got up and am doing laundry. Our cat has been at the vet cause she was breathing hard. It's the Bobster's favorite cat and he was sure he would have to put her down, but she's better after $173!!! We're going to board her this weekend cause we'll both be gone and she needs meds twice a day for a week. Tomorrow the dogs go in for their heartworm meds and shots. Gonna cost a bundle on pets this week!! I have a lazy evening today. No rehearsals, no meetings, just tv and laundry. I'm all packed except for the toiletries. I tried on my skorts and I just love them! Hopefully we aren't going to anyplace where we'll have to be more than casual. I'm not bringing any dresses along. Tomorrow I have the morning free, then the dogs go in and Ethan comes over for a few hours. Then choir and German class before dinner. Thursday is nail day, Ethan til 5 and then we leave for the hotel so I can be at the airport early on Friday morning. It's getting soooooooooooooooo close!! Jane.. glad you're getting a slight unfill. That reflux is nothing to mess with. Hopefully the unfill will relieve the problem and you can get some sleep. Not that we'll be doing much of that from Friday - Monday!!! Pamela.. ROOMIE!!! GET BETTER NOW!!! I'm a teacher, not a nurse. I don't want us both to be holed up in the room coughing and sneezing and feeling like crap! At least we will have the two sickies together! Kat... you keep your distance from those of us with germs... don't want you to have to postpone your surgery cause you have a cold!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I'm going to watch Idol for the first time on a Tuesday so I can make my choice. Gotta watch Dancing With the Stars and see who gets voted off and the Pistons and Tigers are both playing tonight.. They allow lamas in the hospital there????? And you have to coach them???????? (sorry, I couldn't resist!)

Nearly frozen Crystal Light, shaken, not stirred. Now where have I heard that before?? I'll bring my own packets.. it's on my list. Just the Deja Blue bottles (1 liter size) and I'll be good to go.

Good Morning, Violets.. Had a good long sleep last night. Everything feels a bit better today. Thank goodness for Zicam. I'll be fine by Friday, I'm sure. Michelle...keep checking those eyeballs. Pink eye is nothing to fool with and as you know is highly contagious. Any sign of it in your children?? I'm off to the hospital to file papers, then to the PMS luncheon and then going to get my hair cut and colored. Wooo hoooo. Can't be too blonde for Texas!!! TTFN

Great pics, Tracy. Makes me want to kick myself though. The whole family was together for the graduation party and did we think to take a family photo? Nooooooooooooo!! :biggrin::thumbup: I'm coming down with a cold. Figures when a big event is coming up. I'm doing the zicam so hopefully it will be ok by the weekend. Nothing stopping this old lady!!

Michelle... Get thee to a doctor! Ethan had pink eye last week and it didn't look bad the first day. But I told his mom he needed to have it looked at. Sure enough it was pink eye and they had to treat both eyes. But it was much better in a day or two. You don't want to be all pink and puffy for the trip!! Ethan is here and he's playing with my keyboard so there's "music" in the air! Pam..yup... we "relaxed" in the hot tub last night. la la la la la la How many more days of school for you???? Kindergarten Round Up here is the 27th and 28 and our end of the year breakfast is the 6th of June. Can't wait to go back and see all my colleagues. They haven't seen me since early last June. Gotta go strut my stuff!!

Good evening, Violets.. Hope everyone had a good day. It was fun hearing Pam's and Tracyk's voice. I figured since I programmed in everyone's cell phone, I better make sure I have them in correctly. Don't want to be calling TracyK to pick me up and find out I don't have the right number!! And of course I had to have my Roomie's number right. The Bobster and I just got in from the hot tub. It's so pretty out there. The stars are out, and just a few drops of light rain. It was nice to "relax" out there.. I got two beautiful hanging plants today from DD and DS plus a cute Hoops and YoYo talking thermal cup. DD says it's for my Crystal light. She knows me well. Oldest DS called to wish me a Happy Mother's Day and 2nd oldest DS will be calling the florist tomorrow I'm sure, cause my flowers from him never arrived. He said he's hoping they are so sorry that they give him free flowers that he can give to the Bobster on his birthday later this month. The boy's always thinking!! Ethan will be here at 8 so I better head to bed. Everyone have a good evening!!
