I can come in on Thursday at 9:39 a.m. and leave Monday at 11:30 a.m. or 5:00 p.m. whichever works in everyone else's schedule.

Jane... because of what happened last time, I will be biting the bullet and driving 5 hours to get to Detroit so it will be a straight flight of 1 hour 49 minutes.. not an allllllllllllll day affair like last time.

Suzie... I got in the pool last night. I just missed the water so much, I said what the heck. It was only 78 and was chilly, but once I got in it was fine and I got my exercising in. Then I went in the hot tub for 20 minutes and got my body temperature back up!!! They are supposed to deliver the heater and set it up Monday and hopefully we'll get the piping laid sometime next week. I'm ready for some warm water swimming!! Off to breakfast.. bbl....

Good Morning, Violets!! I'm up super early for a Saturday. Our friends asked us to go to breakfast at 8:30 so I'm up and getting ready. The Bobster is still snoozing, but then again it only takes him 5 minutes to get ready. I don't know about the weather yet. I can see the sun and I look out my window here and see leaves turning already. It's supposed to be 88 here today and it's very humid out. Weatherbug shows rain coming so I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Everything is ready for the party justincase it's a go. Terry... check is in the mail today. I'll be looking at flights too. Mine will be about $500 also and guess we'll have to wait and check out arrivals and departures so we are kind of coordinated before I book anything. Off to get ready for breakfast. I LOVED the B&B.. Great set up, loved the room and breakfast was really good, except for being told to "simmah down"! The hotel in SA was fine, but I really loved the riverwalk. Just wish we had had more time to look in the stores and sample the food in different restaurants. But then again, Laura is young and hip and I'm old, sweet and innocent!:tt2:

Good Morning, Violets.. I was up at 7 to let the garage dog out and didn't get to bed until after midnight cause I was watching the olympics. I went back to bed and here it is 10:30 and I'm just getting up again.. YIKES!!! Tracy... we have sophisticated brats here in Northern Michigan. And even if they don't misbehave....... we EAT them. How's that for behavior modification?? Kat..glad you're feeling better. I don't get Ethan til 3:30 today so I have all morning to get things done around here. Oh wait....... I already slept half the morning away!!! Michelle..hae a good day today with all your PTA stuff. Last year I roomed with a Lesbian. This year I'll room with a President. woooo hooooo! Tracyinks...I overdid on granola bars yesterday so I didn't weigh in this morning either. I honestly have not lost anything in months now.. well, I've lost and then gained right back. They are not going to be very happy at the docs when we go back in a couple of weeks. But maybe a little fill will jumpstart the loss. I sure hope so. I'm happy in my size 12 pants and XL or L shirts, but I sure would like to see the scale reflect my exercise and wise eating more. Jane...glad you're feeling better and TGIF to you!! Suzie.. I stayed up to watch the men's volleyball and saw the BMX stuff too. I can't imagine riding those little bikes over big bumps is an Olympic sport!! Everyone have a great day. I'm going to go find some "brunch"! It's looking like rain here right now so I'm really doubting we have the party tomorrow. Oh well.. I'll enjoy my backyard from the window and save money on BRATS!

Ok, OK.. you talked me into it. I'll have a baby so you all can visit Michigan. After all that lady in Japan, at 61, just gave birth to her own grandchild. Shouldn't be THAT hard, should it?? Ethan was here all day and we had a great time. He is finally calling me when he wants something. I'm MomMom to him. The Bobster is Poppa. He always said it before when asked who we were, but today for the first time he yelled it out when he wanted me with him. I love it!! I have tomorrow morning to get the house cleaned for the choir party on Saturday. Ethan comes from 3-5 so I'll do some more cleaning after he leaves!! Then we have to go out and get the brats, burgers and hot dogs for the party. It doesn't start til 6, so I have time in the morning to get everything ready. uh oh.. just looked at the weather report and it says thunderstorms on Saturday. I already told the choir if it rained, then we would have to cancel it. Dang...!!! I'm not going to get the meat til Saturday morning now. Don't want all that stuff with nobody to eat it!! Kat.. hope you're feeling better and I totally agree with the email you sent about the trip. Tracy...School doesn't start here for a couple of weeks yet, but I remember well when the munchkins came and met me and scoped out the territory at the meet and greet before school started. Such excitement in their eyes! So many tears in their mom's eyes!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh the memories!! Now I just look forward to taking Ethan to school in 3 more years! I'm headed for bed. Three nights is all I can swing too. I have an extra day tacked on at each end for traveling to and from the airport as it is. Detroit is 5 hours from here and in order to get an early flight out and a late flight in, we have to spend the night before and after.

The baseboard hasn't been put back on since we had wood flooring put in and that was several years ago. I didn't like the old wood trim and the Bobster kept saying he would put up the new, but #1. he had no time and #2. he didn't know what the heck he was doing!! Everyone have a great day. Haydee.. I guess if Pam says it's ok. She and I had talked about being roomies again even before we left San Antonio. But maybe someone else wouldn't mind rooming with an old lady.. make that a sweet, innocent, old lady.

PamELA... how did it go at school today?? Did you get sent to "time out"? Personally I thought that was somestimes preferable to the listening to the speakers. I had a bout with Rheumatoid Arthritis years and years and years ago. I could barely walk. The doc gave me some steroids and that cleared it up, thank goodness. Now I only have some increasing pain in my thumbs, which my doctor now says is the most common site for arthritis. Sucks to get old!!
