Laura.. Kristin is starting her 5th month and she wore a maternity top for the first time Sunday. I'm just now able to feel the firmness of where her baby is. It's belly rubbin' time!!

Laura.. My experience...#1 daughter in law.... I was at the hospital for the last delivery, but did not go in the room during birth. #2 daughter in law.. same deal #3 daughter.. I'll know in February!! I don't really need to be in the room during birth so long as I get to see the baby as soon after as possible. It was a bonding time for the Bobster and me when our babies were born. Our moms got to see our babies right after they were born, but weren't in the delivery room. I don't think I'd be comfortable at all with a mil in the room, but that's just me.

Pam!!! What happened???? What caused the fire??? TracyK.. isn't that the best breakfast?? Lots of protein.. my favorite. Ethan and I just finished half a Honey Crisp apple. It's like eating candy, it's so sweet. I'm teaching him sign language and he keeps signing EAT and APPLE. Too cute! Haydee.. we went to an inside wedding Saturday with the windows facing the water. It was really pretty and nice and warm inside. We would have frozen outside! And I didn't have anything to drink.. surprise, surprise!:tt2:

I feel like the lap band guru here in Alpena too!! After starting the support group, it seems like there are tons of people interested in the band. Two of my friends are now scheduled. One has surgery tomorrow and one has it in January. I'm so excited for my friend's surgery tomorrow. She will have such a better quality of life after she loses weight. In support of her, I'm going to do liquids Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before the cruise and then back to solids on Saturday. Just might give me a kick start before the cruise. True, my doctor is opposed to strictly liquids, but it's just for a couple of days and I won't tell him if you don't!! Ethan is on the couch with some chocolate milk and is watching cartoons. I can get some laundry done now. Catch you all later!

Good Morning, Violets.. A new day and things are pretty much going to be normal today. Ethan has arrived. I made pancakes for him for breakfast and now I'm having my 1 egg scrambled up with some turkey sausage and cheese. The concert last night was a huge success. The music was just beautiful. The Bobster said he was in awe of me, so that's good enough for me!! PamELA.. got your chapter downloaded. I had to download some new software to view it since you had a newer edition of Word than I had. I started reading it last night, but time ran out and I'll hit it again today. 24 pages!!! Wooo hooooo!! Jenn.. your project sounds huge!! Can't wait to see pics. I remember when they were redoing our kitchen and we became on a first name basis with the waitresses in town cause we couldn't cook for a month!! We got all new appliances, countertops and cabinets.. the whole 9 yards. I'm happy with the way it turned out, but it sure was a lengthy job. And my heat has been on for the last few days. Even when it's set for 63 degrees, it's been coming on so you know it's cold outside!! Kat.. glad the birthday party went well. Bet that salad tasted yummy after all this time. Susie.. loved the pics! Our pool is drained and covered for the winter. sighhhhhhhhh How many months til April?? Maybe we need another countdown to pool opening day! They have a great gym onboard. Laura... Kristin was wearing maternity clothes yesterday for the first time. What a treat for me to see. Now it's belly rubbing time every time I see her!! She gets her first ultra sound on Wednesday. She doesn't want to know the sex, but wants to be assured that everything is ok with the baby. My SIL is an avid hunter, so on our shopping trip she found a little camo hat that says "Daddy's little hunter" on it. Not my thing, but he loved it. Terry.. can't wait to get my necklace. It's perfect for this time of year!! Haydee.. hope all is well with you. Off to entertain Ethan. Will check back later when he lets me!!

I saw your ad, Janie... I'll vote for you!! But I've already voted for the Bobster and myself and... and...and... It's a pretty popular and cute link. Just got up from a little nap. Every time I tried to sleep, the garage dog started barking at the neighbors. Instead of the Bobster letting her in, he'd just say "NO" and then she'd be quiet for a few seconds until she started barking again. I was too lazy to come downstairs and let her in the house and Bob was too.... well, let's just say he didn't. We're having some roasted corn chowder (out of a mix) for supper tonight. I have to eat early cause I leave for the Peace concert at 5:30. Tomorrow I have NOTHING scheduled!! No meetings, no rehearsals, no nuthin except if Ethan comes for the day. I haven't gotten the schedule for the week yet. One week from today at this very time, the Bobster and I will be on the ship checking out our room and exploring our favorite ship. The countdown will have to be done ahead of time or after I get back. Internet is sooooooooooo slow onboard ship and you pay by the minute. Gotta run,have supper and get ready. Tracy....CONGRATS on the -7.5# You're really in the groove now!!:tongue2::thumbup: The Bobster and I are going to the Eastern Caribbean. Exact same cruise as I took with DD Kristin last June, but this time just Bob and I. We'll hit St. Maarten, St. Thomas and CoCoCay. One week from today we'll be on the ship. The Bobster just said he needed to start packing. I've been packed for a week now.. lol Gotta run to church. Bye for now!!

Wooo Hooooo, PamELa!!!! We knew you could do it! I remember well when the Bobster was writing his doctoral thesis. Seems like it took forever, but when it was done, what a relief!!! The wedding yesterday was lovely. We took a little drive around the grounds between the wedding and the reception and saw several deer. It was such a beautiful Fall day. It's 39 degrees right now and definitely looks like Fall. Had an NSV last night. We were talking with our tablemates about kids and such and I mentioned my SIL's height (6'11") I was told that I was "little"!! I have never been called "little" in my life!!!!! Short yes, but not little!!! What a great feeling!!! Off to get ready for church. After the concert tonight I can relax for a bit. Will be glad when that is out of the way. Good Morning, Violets.. I slept in til 10 this morning and it felt great! Course I had several weird dreams, but that always happens when I sleep more than usual. Ethan is coming over at noon and then Kris is coming over to take him to her house since the Bobster and I have to leave for a wedding at 2:30. It's 39 degrees here right now, but the sun is shining and it's a beautiful day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRACY!!!!! TracyK... CONGRATS on your restriction and losing weight again. I knew you could do it!!!!! You'll be slimmer and trimmer when we meet again in June. And ya know what?? We ALL will be that way cause we are da SHRINKING Violets!!! Gotta go get some "brunch" and get ready for the day. Good evening Violets.. Had a really great day with Kristin today. We shopped til we dropped. I got 3 sweatshirts on sale and a couple of cruise outfits also on super sale. Got the Bobster some sweaters and also got myself a sweater to wear to a wedding tomorrow. I'm exhausted and heading to bed early tonight. TracyinKS....I know how disappointed you must be, but what is meant to be, will be. Don't give up just yet. You never know when things might work out for you. But I agree with everyone else in here.. You look great as you are and are an inspiration to us all. PamELa.. you take care of YOU and I'm so proud of what you are doing. You'll be Doctor Roomie the next time I see you!! Tracy.... I haven't weighed in a few days and won't until just before the cruise. We're not going to eat in the dining room on this cruise. We'll go to the cafeteria so we can pick our own food and our own portions. Plus we can eat when we want. Right now we are scheduled to eat at 8:30 p.m. and that's too late with the restriction we have. If I eat that late, then I get acid reflux at night and I don't want to deal with that again. So we won't meet new people, but that's ok. I enjoy the Bobster's company!! Everyone have a good night. Sleep well!

Should be a beautiful drive with all the leaves turning. It's 34 degrees this morning. Definitely not pool weather!!! But definitely great to think that I'll be leaving for our next cruise a week from tomorrow!! wooo hooooo!! Gotta go get some breakfast and be on my way. Have a great day.
