My port moved a lil to the left about 4 months post op....my doc said...no big deal..he will just track it....lol

Dont read if your eatting.... I have a bit of a cold....and have been sneezing some.....well yesterday I sneezed just after eatting and I thought wow my food almost came up.....and again tonight I did sneeze and gross thank goodness I covered my mouth with my napkin.....Has this happened to any one else.....

Oh Hun...sneezing up a lil bite of food is a same price to pay for all the NSV I have had....

Good Morning Everyone.... Stepped on the scale this morning and I have finally lost 100 lbs !!! I havent felt this happy in ages...and for all the ones wondering if they should or shouldnt get banded.... August 5 2011 was my first Dr appt that was made through my family doc 3 months pryer....as the date came closer and closer I kept thinking...Noooo Im not going to the appt....telling myself Im to old and this has been who I am most of my life....and why try and fail yet again...Im to old...and way in the back of my mind...I liked eatting...but in the last mins that day I said..OK im going.....and It was the best appt I ever had for just myself.....and I have learned to do for myself for a change.....I have raised 7 sons and 1 daughter...and many foster children....This jorney I have done for myself...and It has effected every one around me in positive ways....Im the first one now to jump up and shut the TV off and yell who wants to go for a walk.....and we do and we all love it....my youngest hugs me and his lil arms reach all the way around me....My husband has told me a few nights he has woken in the middle of the night and didnt feel me in the bed...till he felt around...This summer I went down a Water slid and loved it.....Yes Im so glad I kept that appt 15 months ago...

I love cottage cheese...what a great idea for ones who don't like it...

I stay around 1200...my dr told me I could go up to 1500 and I did for a lil, but 1200 I feel good with and still loosing

Sorry you have someone that is not as supportive of you as family should be.... I to have a older son who is very heavy not supportive...He never belittles it...but he never says wow mom your doing good...He just doesnt mention it...and that to hurts.... But..we cant change people...so I try not taking it personal.....Good Luck and wow 20 lbs is great...sure beats putting on 20 !!!! ~hugs~

I think everyone is scared that first fill....this is how mine went... nurse had me fill out a paper asking questions about my eatting..how many times a day/week/month I ate certain foods....then she weighed me ( which I had expected more of a loss) then she lead me into a lil office I sat on the table waiting for my Dr....she already had a needle and saline all set out...he came in with my paper in his hand went over it and said Ok Dee want a fill !!! and I was so ready..we talked for a lil then he asked me to lay back and pull up my shirt and down with the waistband of my streachie pants...he just did it ...and I didnt feel the needle at all.....He had me sit up....drink a lil Water as we talked some more....then I was done !!! Good Luck !

I have gained lots...first I have so much energy to play with my kids... I have a confidance to be out in public...wich means I do so much more with my family. I have gained a closet full of cute clothes...rather then all my streachie blach pants and over sized shirts....'Ive gained the pride Im showing my family I can do something for myself...and I have gained the satisfaction of knowing I tought my kids about eatting right..( even though I can see I have lots more work to do there..LOL ) I go to school meetings and sports practices all the time now feeling so HAPPY !

I have the realize band....and took a long time to feel restriction...

And I wuv ya both.....I know how hard you are working CG....and congrats again Maddys...hugs....
