    delish protein shake!!!

lauraj23: Let me clarify that, okay? The EAS AdvantEDGE is available at the grocery store for about $9.00 for a 4 pack and Wal-Mart for about $5.00 for a 4 pack. The chocolate fudge tastes plenty good to me, but make sure it is cold. You could even blend it in ice to make it thicker. It has 17 grams of Protein and this is the one I drink. The EAS Myoplex is 42 grams of protein and is larger and really not recommended for us. It's for body-builders and is about $4.50 per container. Get the EAS AdvantEDGE in chocolate fudge for a ready made replacement meal or a supplement to make sure you are boosting your protein.

    Being banded on Monday

I was banded Sept 24th. so far so good. Daily bouts of weariness and the first couple of days I had a few moments of postpartum-type doubt, but it soon passed. I feel like I can do this.

The EAS Myoplex is also available at the grocery store and Wal-Mart for about $9.00 for a 4 pack. I suggest chilling them first for the best taste.

    delish protein shake!!!

EAS Myoplex comes in pre-measured liquid 4-pack containers. It is expensive, but is supposed to be very high quality. I drank them Pre-Op and they kept me full for 4 hours. I drank a lot of Water after drinking them too. the chocolate is superior to the vanilla in the taste department. The taller containers have 43 grams of Protein, but the smaller ones are 25. I suspect this would be a perfect "instant breakfast" type drink without all the sugar. Store: Product Details These are about $2.90 each from this store and I have an athlete friend who swears by them. If you drank one each morning, this would last over 3 weeks.

    2 days since band placement

Hello, my name is Bert and I am a foodaholic. LOL I am 4 days post-Op. Everything is going well.. I haven't had any gas or nausea. The first day post-op, I walked 2 times for a 1/8 mile total and took 2 naps. Day 2, I walked 1 time for a 1/16th mile and took 3 one hour naps. Day 3, I walked 1 time for a 1/16th mile and took a one hour nap. Today, I rode my bike for 20 minutes and took a 2 hour nap. I've sipped about a gallon of Water all 4 days and feel rested and no pain or meds.:clap2:

    delish protein shake!!!

Hi! Does anyone have a recommendation on the different protein whey powders? It seems there is a wide range of prices, from $15 to $70 for a 2lb container.

I was one of the smaller people, but may have been the biggest guy. I think everything will go through like it's on a greased (bacon) skid. Afterward, we went Papasitas. First diet class Monday. 2-19-07 0800-1000 Went to the initial class for dietary/psych eval uation and passed with flying colors.
