I am 4 days post op and now have excruciating left shoulder pain l know its probably from the the gas they pump in your stomach any suggestions on how to get rid of it that is the only thing that is not possible to me right now I walk I roll I don't know what else to try. Any suggestions

Jhealan, I know what u mean about being a baby. I am getting a little better each day but I guess I was prepared for such a slow recovery .I had my lap band put in on February the 16th 2012 and I only needed two or three days to recover nothing like this I'm 6 days post op an my abdomen is a little and my back and shoulder are very sore I am using ice and heat an seems to help little!

To all of my fellow Dec. sleevers how long will the pain last. Im two days post op an still having pain.

Had my band in 2/16/2012 and had it removed on 8/2/2013 due to bans slippage and a hital hernia lost 70lbs had my revison 12/26/2013. This has been the worst surgery out ofcall 3 of them.Had so much pain when I came out of surgery and still having pain except now my pain is tolarable!

Revision surgery scheduled 4 Dec. 26,2014 @ 945. So excited!

Hi all my surgery date is December 26 I am NOT new to the website , I had the lap band for 18 months and then had to get it removed due to a hiatal hernia! Even though this will be my 3rd surgery getting first getting my lab in and then getting the lap band removed and now getting the sleeve it doesn't get any easier excited but nervous

Thank u wishing I would have just done the revision when I the lap and removed instead of going through a 3rd surgery.

And my band remove August 2nd 2013 after having it for 18 months and 70 pounds and now being sleeve December the 26 I'm excited but nervous at the same time

I had my band for about 18 months an I loved it lost 70lbs with it, then a few months ago I started vomiting and could not keep anything down, have an upper GI done and show that I had a hiatal hernia and needed to get my been removed. My doctor was going to do the sleeve revision at that time but I just wanted my band out, thought I could keep the weight off by myself but I am slowly gaining it back. And my lap been out August of 2013 just found out I was approved for the sleeve. I am nervous because my doctor said that if there's too much scarring from the lapband and he can't do the sleeve he may have to do gastric bypass.

Well i guess my band was too tight got .5cc out and I fell great I can eat and drink again

Please help !!!!Had a fill today after my fill doctor had me drink a little glass of water an it went down fine. But now that I m home I can not keep anything down not even liquid its like everything goes down but just sits there and the comes back up. Does this mean that I am too tight.

Okay February bandsters I had my last fill 6 weeks ago but today my band was so tight that I barely could even drink anything and could not eat ant food.Did anyone else ever have this feeling?
