Mary Stokley Gromer

Hello! I'm a city girl from Dallas that lives in Northern California now. I love photography and fashion and jewelry design. I'm a grandma with two beautiful granddaughters. I want to do more with them. All the reasons for having this life changing surgery is for all the "I can'ts". I am ready to go for a hike, ride a bike and maybe someday, do a marathon. Although I may never run that race, just to get to the point that I know I could is enough for me. I want to be healthy and get off the medications that I had to start on in just the last two years.  I'm a published photographer and would love to do more weddings too! So much hopes for the future!!

My past experience -
What a journey! I'm so excited to start my road to better health. It's been a long journey for me. I had lapband surgery 6 years ago and went into a stall only 3 months out. Then in 2016 a new doctor filled the band too much and although I lost a lot of weight, it was only with pain. I had a blockage which caused the band to slip in October 2016 and the lap band had to be removed in January 2017. It was a very difficult recovery of 3 months and gained the weight back. 

I'm determined to be successful with the Gastric Sleeve. NO MATTER WHAT!!
