It's called feeling awesome about yourself!! I too have found myself getting my nails done, getting new perfumes/lotions, and just treating myself a little more than usual!!!!

Congrats! How many CC's total do u have in your band? Do u feel restriction? I had my 2nd fill Monday. Now I have a total of 5 cc's. I defenitely need to stop eating a lot sooner than before my 2 nd fill.. It's a beautiful thing!

I think I waited 2 weeks to add fish, tuna salad, chicken salad, sweet potatoes, eggplant, and soft cheeses. At 8 days post I was still eating creamy soups, yogurts, puddings, jello, and refried beans. Best of luck to you!!

Has anyone had any problems eating pastries? Were going to a party this weekend and my family is big on Cuban pastries( guava, cheese, meat) Just wondering if they have caused stuck episodes like breads do to some people? Should I approach with caution? Lol Thanks in advance!

I guess it would inhibit your will power... I know when I have s glass of wine or 2 it makes me a lil hungrier....lol

Kah, the only people that know are my husband, parents, Inlaws, and 3 close friends. Yes, when I mentioned it to them they all thought I was crazy. They knew I was serious so they all supported me afterwards. Honestly, if we were to let ourselves continue on the wrong path, who's to say those 45-65 lbs don't turn into 100, 150, even 200??? That should make people understand;)

No... Don't scare me!! Lol I chose the band cause it was the least invasive/safest/reversible procedure... Did he mention causes or reasons for more common erosions?

Awesome! Best of luck. Yes I remember pigging out like a beast the week before surgery... We went to Disney World and ate sooooo much fried food and sweets! Enjoy it now, cause we are on our way to be skinny and healthier!!!

It's been super hard.. A lot of will power and just the thought that I payed $10,000 out if pocket keeps me motivated! Lol One if my little tricks is buying little 1/2 cup tupperwares, i only eat what it can hold, for example I'll fill 1 with tuna and one with black beans/red beans/or chickpeas.. I'll take both little 1/2 cups to work and that's my 1 cup lunch. I need to get exercising though. It's my weakness. So when were u banded? What has bend your progress do far?

Hi Kah... As a matter of fact I had my 2nd fill today at 4:00. I now have 5cc in my band. Hopefully I will feel some restriction with this one:) up to now I have none whatsoever! If I let myself I could totally pig out:)
