in my chest area? I'm on mushy food but even with sugar free pudding , yogurt, shakes or cream Soup I get this lump feeling in my chest after I eat. Maybe I'm eating too fast, or not chewing correct? I have no fill and feel great. Some days I feel like I can eat a house some days I hardly feel like I can eat that much. Anyone experience this?? how often and why would you reset your pouch??

I had egg salad the other day I'm three weeks out and it kinda just got stuck in my chest area.. not sure if I ate too fast or too much or both but I won't be trying that again. Oatmeal also. I'm starting to think I can't eat anything but soup!

I don't stuff food down at all. It seems the little that I eat is getting stuffed down and this is very little like soup , yogurt , etc. Im' three weeks out and no fill but I think I need to learn how how to take baby portions and chew better.. I will use the dime on the spoon/fork and chew until its baby like rule for now on!

I'm having my surgery on March 6th. I was so overwhelmed with stressing about getting approved by the insurance company I have had not much time to think about anything else.... now that I'm a few weeks away from being banded I'm worried I will fail the band. That I will go back to my old ways , that I won't have the will power? I know deep down I won't. I know this is it and I'm going to make it work but I'm still stressing about this.. Anyone else?? also YAY US!!! I can't friggin wait!! I'm 38, 230 , female with three kids... God I need this!!~

I'm two weeks post-op i saw my surgeon the other day and asked him and he told me REALIZE is a one size fits all? I didn't want to sit there and grill but I always thought they came in different sizes?? Does anyone know what size there realize band is?? I need to be more firm with my dr and speak up more, he is a man with very few words!! TIA!!

I'm almost three weeks out Tuesday banded March 6th. I could eat anything and everything at this point. First fill April 9th. I do notice I get fuller faster and eat less is this due to my dieting or can the band still be helping even though there is no fill. My 1st week home I could not eat anything I was so swollen but That has def changed... I'm just wondering if I'm doing this all on willpower until my next fill or is the band helping me? Either way even if its just in my mind its working!

Congrats!! I was banded March 6th the first week I lost about 6 pounds now i"m at a stand still. I can't wait to get some fills in my band!

When I told my boss ( I work in a hospital and that's the hospital I got it done in) she asked me when was my surgery after I told her March 6th, she started laughing, then she told me she is getting it done on the same day! Sure enough we were both in room next to each other for the night! Pretty interesting and funny!!

I just called they said they have tons of them I guess its just a generic card? She says you can use it if you want to order kid meals in restaurants lol!! never heard of that but may work in disney!!

No , I did't get one. I love my surgeron since he is very good at his job ( surgery) very well known but little things he stinks!! I'm going to call the office now and see what's up! Thanks for the info. Does the info on the card have what size band?? If there all different sizes why do they say its one size fits all??

I walk around the block every day but when can I do the gym? I'm three weeks out next Tuesday march 27th, Im' appetite is back in full force I have no fill and I'm stuck on the same number since I got home from the hospital 2 1/2 weeks ago give or take a pound each day. Can I walk on the treadmill at the gym for 45 min yet? My big incision is still a bit sore but that's it. Thanks all. I know your going to say ask your dr, but honestly he does not say much not one for words but just said wait until 6 weeks, not sure I can..

Can you get a stuck with no fill? I'm three weeks out and feel like I can eat anything... NO FILL YET ;( Is something wrong with me or the band?? lol grrrr

I go for my 1st fill April 9th banded on the 6th of March... I too am ready to get some restriction already!!...

mine is on my left. I just got banded on March 6th and its still sore in that area but I'm hoping that will go away soon. Each day seems easier

Do you only feel like this with a fill? I'm a few weeks out no fill yet not until April 9th, I'm actually still on soft foods and I don't feel like this at all. I could prob eat everything but I'm watching until I get a fill, do theses 1/2 cup meals happen with a fill or when you hit your sweet spot?? Please tell me I should not be feeling like this is with no fill?? lol I can say I prob do eat less then I use to but I can eat way more then 1/2 cup ( this is with no fill yet) April 9th 1st fill!

My strips were almost off on there own and when I pulled one off after my shower I noticed that only one was not closed and open its small and I don't think I need to call the Dr or anything ( I see him Monday) almost like a cut its pink and watery SORRY FOR TMI My kids get bigger cuts then this.. I just put a band-aide on it . It was not the big incision but one of the smaller ones. Maybe he will put a stitch in it or just use a butterfly band aid. anyone have this happen?? I'm only two weeks post op on Tuesday.

I would like to know this also. The cream soups really add up on calories.. What is the correct amount??

Thank you for posting this. I'm 8 days out and I have seen more positive post then negative but the negative ones I do question. Some of them only have a few post never a pic etc.. I'm 8 days out last week it took me two days to finish a bottle of water and a jello, well today no problem there I'm so glad I have this board and wonderful people to guide and help me on my journey!
