PattyGirl, where did you find those wraps? I've never seen them at the store. They would be great to have my chicken salad or tuna salad on on the low carb days. -

Thanks Missy! I owe it all to you! I had never heard of carb cycling until you started this thread. Reading your initial post and how successful you were with carb cycling your first week got me excited about trying it. I had gotten into a rut the last couple of months and hadn't really felt all that "into" even trying as much as I did at the beginning. I was on a plateau, partially of my own making. I wasn't nearly as excited as I had been. When I read your initial post, I got excited again and it re-awakened my determination! Thanks so much for starting this thread. I really think it is helping quite a few of us. -

OKay, so I started on Saturday. I weighed myself yesterday at my dad's place (the only scale I weigh myself on). Halfway through my 4th day and I was already down 5.2 pounds! Wooohoooo! I was a little worried too, because on my first low carb day I accidentally went over my target by about 25 carbs. Damn hidden carbs gah.... I won't make that mistake again. -

Missy and PG... I make a cheeseball with ham, cream cheese, green onions, pineapple and cayenne pepper that is to die for! Sounds like you ladies might like it. You can put as much or as little of each ingredient into it as you wish! -

I just bought it for Kindle for PC on Amazon! Paid a total of 10.07 for it! I'm hoping I can sync it to my e-reader so I can take it with me.... http://www.amazon.com/Choose-Lose-7-Day-Solution-ebook/dp/B006J66ILE/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1352484450&sr=1-1&keywords=Choose+to+Lose%3A+The+7-Day+Carb+Cycle+Solution -

I need to read this book and follow it! I need to lose more, but have not been all that great of a bandster as of late. I've been emotional and giving in to temptations a little too much. But I have been exercising more. I am in PT and my new therapist is working me more than I have ever done. He has me exercising harder than ever, and loving it! It's like having a personal trainer for an hour a couple times a week, and I both look forward to it, and dread it. lol I am definitely gonna get that book and start the carb cycling like you do. My problem is I am not sure how many calories I should be eating.... My Fitness Pal says to lose 1.5 pounds a week I can eat 1700 calories a day but I think that is too much. -
Meet John Boy! These were taken when I first got him back in April. He is half chihuaha and half rat terrier.... and ALL adorable!

What Would You Wear If You Lose Weight?
angel_eyes4477 replied to lupediva's topic in The Gals' Room
I hope to wear a wedding dress in the near future! A nice fitted one. maybe sleeveless. My primary care doc, who got me started on the lap band journey, told me a couple months after my band.... "Tell Oliver (my man) that I said I bet you are going to be a beautiful bride by this time next year." hehe Also I am planning to wear a nice blue jean mini skirt to make my sweetie get all hot and bothered.... pair it with a very low cut top and go dancing! Make him (and the other guys) drool. -

Awesome NSV today! For the first time in 20 some odd years, I tried on a size large in pants and they fit! They were sweatpants and a mens large, but still!!! Last winter I was wearing a mens 3X-4X in sweats and now I am in a large! Wooohooo!!!

Some Pictures Of Me
angel_eyes4477 replied to angel_eyes4477's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
Thanks everyone! It feels good to be smaller, and to have it noticed And I still have 91 pounds to lose until I am at goal, so imagine the difference THAT will make! It is slow going right now, but I haven't exactly been a "good" bandster lately. I haven't been able to do my walking like I should due to health reasons, and I have been eating some not so good for me things lately. I've been under some emotional stress and have been caving to the cravings I am seriously considering doing a restart and going on a liquid diet for a few days, then a soft food diet for a few more days and actually measuring what I eat. I have gotten out of the habit of measuring and I need to get myself back into it. My dilemma right now is.... I am trying to cut back on smoking so I can quit, so should I try to do the liquid diet while quitting smoking? I am afraid that that will be too overwhelming. I hate that I got back into the habit of smoking when my mom died. I needed an outlet for the stress and it was either smoking or stress eating and I chose to smoke... Bad habits are bad habits.... -
