I'm in Maryland and in need of a buddy. I was sleeved 2/24/14 and I have actually gained back 30lbs. I'm looking for anyone who would be able to help me back on track and stay there.

YESSSSS!!!!!!! I have a serious case of baby fever!!! My son is 2 and I cringe every time i take my birth control. lol hopefully we'll start trying soon and I'm 16-months post op so i guess i'm in the okat time frame for getting preggers but I have felt like this for about 6 months or more( my poor husband lol)

Hi all. I am 14 months post op and my husband and I are going to start TTC this summer when I am 18 months post op, but I am worried about having to have another c-section. I had an emergency c-section with my son, who is now 2. Have any of you been able to successfully have a vaginal birth after cesarean after having WLS? Any advice and answers are welcome! Thanks!

So please explain to me how you would feel if an airline employee came up to you and said the same thing for no reason. She may be a bigger person, but that doesn't give someone the right to tell her she may need to purchase another seat. What would happen if no one complained, and she fit in her seat just fine and had a lovely flight? As the airline employee, you would have just shoved your entire foot in your mouth and put your job on the line if she were to complain and get your superiors involved. Its not just fat shaming, its discrimination because at that point, what was said was unprompted and unnecessary. The airline employee is asking for trouble and she should be pissed off about being spoken to that way.

I just got married a week ago and I bought a size 18 from David's Bridal (1 1/2 month before my wedding) and it was more than a little large on my wedding day ( i'm down to a 16 now) I chose to go with a padded bustier (i have no chest so this was needed for me anyway) and it held my dress up How quickly have you been dropping the weight? If its steady, I would order the size you wear now and get it altered down to fit if you need it to. If its rapid, maybe 1 size smaller (once you have the corset-bra bustier thing on it cinches you down any way) Good Luck and congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I am so sorry that you had to be spoken to like that but you are a much nicer person than I...I would have flipped my shit and caused an extreme scene. I would have had a slew of free flights and that employee would be worried about losing their job. There is NO reason to talk to anyone like that ESPECIALLY before you've even boarded your flight. What a schmuck and I hope Karma pays them visit real soon!

What sort of exercise are you getting? Maybe you can start to walk (or do more walking if you already are) to kickstart your weight loss again....

Ok, so I have Kaiser Permanente and their program is 6 months nutritionist visits and weight loss surgery classes. I started this in late 2010 and then changed my mind after the first weight loss surgery class. About 6 months later I changed my mind back and had to start over but only had to redo one class...went through the entire process and was approved for surgery. Fast forward to early 2012, and I met with the surgeon, and was just awaiting my surgery date . A week after meeting with him I found out I was pregnant. Fast forward to 2013 and my son is 4 months old. I called the woman who schedules the surgeries and asked what I needed to so to be scheduled for surgery now that I wasn't pregnant anymore. She said I had to contact my PCP to get a referral back to the surgeon. Well he tells me he has to check with the review board to see if I can get a referral...3 weeks pass and I was called this afternoon and told that since it has been over a year, I have to start over from the beginning!!!! Can you believe this crap?! The entire time I was pregnant, the woman called to schedule my surgery three times. THREE TIMES!!! I kept having to remind her I was pregnant and I would contact them after I had my son. Now I have to start over and do the same visits and classes for 6 months and then wait for approval AGAIN!!!! This is so discouraging...someone please tell me this is worth it. I really need some support to do this all over again...

When was you surgery? I had surgery on 2/24/2014

My stomach has been hanging forever, but my boobs lost the weight first and I'm doen a cup size (was small to begin with) and they're incredible saggy (sorry if TMI) I'm just hoping my somach doesn't hang too much further but I concluded a long time ago that there is a tummy tuck in my future.
