    Too tight ? Swollen ? MISERY !

I got a fill last week. I am 16 months out and have been at my goal for several months. Felt like I was getting hungry too much. I not only keep throwing up but have horrible nausea. Naturally I can't get in for an adjustment until Thursday. Anyone else ever ad the nausea?
  2. I just watched everything I ate.. Now I am going to have to workout to get rid of some flab.

    Stuck After Fill....ughhh!!!

I just had this happen last week. I was banded in January and I am down 67lbs with 13 more to go. I have not had to have very many fills. I got on on July 3rd and did not have another one until last week. I did ok for a couple of days. I really couldn't eat much either. By Sunday I was having a lot of pain. I went back yesterday and he took some out. He said it was just too tight. I feel much better today but am still on liquids. I thought I had something stuck but he said it was just my esophugus was irritated due to the band being too tight. Hope this helps

Food Is Stuck After A Fill

Wooohooooo ... I went to the Dr. yesterday and he took out some saline and told me I did not have anything stuck. He said the band was just too tight. I feel much better today. On a more positive note I had lost 4 lbs in 7 days. I am only 13 lbs away from my goal. I gave myself 1 year to lose 80 lbs and I am 9 months in with 13 more. I know I will make it. I have gone from a size 20 to a size 12. My sister is getting banded on Oct 30th. So excited for her... In my fifties and havin a ball

Food Is Stuck After A Fill

Thanks everyone for the feedback...I think it might not be stuck. I am not sure what is going on but I know my chest hurts like bad acid reflux. It hurts even if I turn too fast. I have also got about 20 mouth ulcers under my tongue. That just started yesterday. It might be from all the acid in the pbing. Not sure but you can bet I will get to the bottom of it tomorrow. Thanks again everyone and I will give an upadate so just in case it ever happens. 9 months in and this is the first problem I have had.

Food Is Stuck After A Fill

Thank you so much...I will try it. All I have had today is about 6oz or water and 4 oz of chicken broth. It just hurts so dang bad to drink anything. I have had my band for 9 months and never had this happen. It is weird. I will try it. Thank you so much. I am at my wits end..

Think I May Be To Tight???!

I am curious too as to how you can tell if it is too tight. I had mine filled 5 days ago and ever sincee I feel like something is stuck in my throat. I can still get food down and I chew alot. I am not getting choked but still feel like something is stuck. I am having a hard time getting my pills to go down. I still taste them several hours later. Any ideas??

4 Weeks Or 29 Days Post Op:) Here's The Skinny...

Hi there, We have several things in common. The burping for me is as my husband refers to it "That sound" ....trust me it is one end or the other all the time. Now it is just plain funny.....I am 7 weeks post surgery and have lost 32. I weighed 235 when I started and am hoping to be out of the 200's by next week. I have had 2 fills on my band and don't think either was the right amount. I am still hungry and can eat almost anything. I don't do it but I could. I go back in a couple of weeks and plan on telling the Dr. I would like to not be hungry. They said it is a trial and error thing. I hope so. I too have the pain in my incision. It is very tender and plan on finding out about that as well. Hang in there. I have found that I may not lose anything for several days and then will start dropping several real close together. GOOD LUCK

    1St Fill

Well I got my first fill yesterday. I was happy to be down 24 lbs in 4 weeks. I worried all morning that the fill would hurt and that was a waste of time. I barely felt anything. I have been on liquids since yesterday and now I am nervous to eat anything. Anyone have any suggestions on what they ate after their first fill....?????
