Medicare Coverage Of Fills, How Much Does It Cost You?
eac00100 replied to meyouus's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
Medicare just approved me for 6 visits. I had lap band done April 2011 with another doctor. Both doctors are in the Melbourne, Fl I changed doctors even though I paid $3,700.00, as the orginal doctor just tighen my band even though I developed numerous lung infections due to reflux. My copay currently is $25.00 per fill/visit. -
I took mine back to the store. The FIRST TWO INGREDENTS Were two different forms of sugar. I did taste one bottle--it tasted like vitinams. Not worth the price for calories.

Public grocery stores sell 3oz cans of chicken. You could mix with single servings of low fat mayo. Also, freeze some yougurt or cheese. -
Addition to above post: Put foood in cup cake lined cupcake pans. Again, once frozen, put into larger compact containers.
-
I freeze sauces, cream soups, and chicken in ice cube trays. Once frozen, I pop them out, then put in plastic storage bags. I take out only what I need for that meal. They defrost on the counter nin no time. I also, freez "milk" cubes for shakes.

I had protien powder to my bottle protien shakes (boost). I add about a tablespoon into the bottle-I make a "funnel" with my hand. then spoon the powder in. I also, have a BIG problem getting my protein in each day. -
It deffently could be the pineapple juice. Somtimes it will bother me
-
Does it make a difference the sosurce of protein one gets? Soy, plant or whey? Also, is there a good site to order the protein from?

When going for "fills" is it normal for the doctor to REMOVE instead of adding water (per medical records) when one doesn'thave any problems other than being hungery? I have surgery over 6 monthes ago.
