6 years out and still working on the weight loss. I just have to remember, not to worry about it as much. When I'm going through a good spell, not to jinx it by worrying about when the next time I'm going to get sick or feel like crap. I miss out either way, when I do that, by not enjoying the moments. It's very much, had I known what I know now moments. For those of you thinking about it, educate yourself, ask a lot of questions, let family know, make sure you have a good support system, in person and online. This website was my umbilical cord for the first few months and it does help knowing there are others going through the same daily struggles . I don't check in as often as I used to but I still come back to it, when I need to find information.
